Is it worth upgrading to premium economy on Lufthansa? ›

Given the significant price difference between economy and premium economy, we'd recommend booking Lufthansa premium economy only if you place a high value on extra space, elevated dining options on your flight and being toward the front of the aircraft.

If you are travelling on this aircraft, I recommend choosing the seats in front of each of the two cabins: the foot space is larger (however, you may be more bothered by noise coming from the galley or the traffic to the restrooms).

More space, more free baggage, more service: long-haul travel in Premium Economy Class comes with many amenities. Consequently, you'll enjoy a relaxed flight to your destination and will be able to head off for some sightseeing or start your meeting as soon as you arrive.
