The Art of Craft by Gucci Cruise 2025 Fashion Show The Italian Fashion House brought glamour to London’s Tate Modern museum where it all begin!Returning to the city that inspired its founder, the House unveiled the first Cruise collection by Creative Director Sabato De Sarno, set against the backdrop of the city's dynamic landscape. For one night only, the basem*nt of #London’s Tate Modern museum was transformed into a lush green jungle and it was the hottest fashion event in town.The collection featured the iconic Horsebit emblem inspired by the equestrian world when it was first introduced in the late 1940s.Dua Lipa and Solange Knowles were on the front row with supermodel Kate Moss and her daughter Lila, along with actors Demi Moore, Debbie Harry, Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott. Celebrities wore vintage and flowers to celebrate the latest exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.Here are the evening’s top looks and the not-to-be-missed moments from the 2024 Gala.Zendaya wearing a GIVENCHY Haute Couture SS96 off-shoulder gown, designed by John Galliano.Loewe was proud to support the Met’s spring 2024 exhibition and Maison's creative director Jonathan Anderson served as an honorary chair of this year!Friends of the house that attended the Met Gala 2024 in custom LOEWE were Anna Wintour, Vogue'sGlobal Editorial Directorand Ayo Edibiri. Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky matched in TOM FORD FASHIONSienna Miller, Greta Gerwig and Zoe Saldaña also attended the Met Gala wearing Chloé.For her second-ever Met appearance, Lana Del Rey was a vision in an Alexander McQueen dress that perfectly embodied the ‘Sleeping Beauties’ theme. Attendees wearing custom designs by Burberry Chief Creative Officer, Daniel Lee, included Elle Fanning and Naomi Campbell. Alex Sharpe and Tyla both were dressed in Balmain. Tyla's dress resembled a sandy hourglass—a literal take on the ‘Sands of Time’. To save her having to walk up the Met stairs in a corseted outfit, she was lifted by her security guards, and the footage subsequently went viral. 💔 RIP Roberto Cavalli 1940 - 2024It is with deep sadness #LuisaWorld Family participates in the passing of the larger-than-life Italian designer and also great friend, Roberto Cavalli. We extend our sincere condolences to his family, loved ones and team.The designer who built a fashion empire based on his own image, died in Florence last Friday. Defined by a glamorous contemporary aesthetic, known for his flamboyant animal-print-infused designs, his legacy is rooted in the Italian excellence and artisanal craftsmanship.Roberto Cavallilaunched his eponymous label in 1970, but it wasn’t until the 1990s that he showed the first sand-blasted jeans.Our collaboration and creative journey started in the early 90s spanning over two decades with tremendous success for both sides. Together we established #RobertoCavalli brand in the Greek market and dominated the luxury market for many years.Our stores in Athens and Luisa Beach in Mykonos served as key commercial destinations for Roberto Cavalli Men and Ladies Collections. ‘‘Rest in peace, you will be missed and you are loved by so many that your name will continue on, a beacon of inspiration for others and especially for me’’ Fausto Puglisi stated, the Creative Director at Roberto Cavalli since 2020.We conclude with a dip in to our archive.
