The Mission Point Lighthouse is a 19th-century structure that has been restored and provides scenic views of the nearby lake from its tower. Along with the lighthouse, visitors can enjoy various activities such as hiking trails, swimming at the beach, and staying in a log cabin. To explore the area further, renting a bicycle in Traverse City is recommended to bike along the wine trail on both sides of town.

We were here during the off season. This is an absolutely beautiful area. The lighthouse itself is very impressive looking. The beach is gorgeous. We really enjoyed the trail system. We hiked for about four hours and did a lot of geocaching. If you enjoy hiking and historical buildings, this is a fantastic place to visit.

Autumn Color travels led us to Old Mission Peninsula, and the end of M-37. Home to Old Mission Lighthouse. Rich historical landmark, with informational markers posted, to share the many stories, that make this place great! A small native garden was recently planted, and serves as a great reminder of the vast nature and beauty around us (planted by Mission Point Lighthouse Friends in 2017). For a small fee, you may visit the Lighthouse Museum, and make the climb to the top of the lighthouse and lookout! So fun for the kids! Picture Perfect location. There is an option to go down to the sandy beach, both steps, AND WC ramp available! You pick! On our trip, this BEAUTIFUL FALL COLOR DAY, we met a lovely couple from Indiana, and their SWEET dog named, “Mister.” Photos too many to count! Here are just a few! LOVE all things about our Great Lakes!!

The drive there is nice... It's a pretty lighthouse, and yet we did not feel like paying to enter. We were hoping for a better beach, but it was shallow and rocky. Checked it off our list, and went swimming closer to downtown TC.

I really enjoyed it. Very small museum and you can go up into the tower for a small fee. Very tight squeeze to get up there, but it's nice. The beach is also very popular and a nice place to hang out. It does get a bit busy though.

A beautiful drive up to the lighthouse. It was peaceful and no traffic. Once you get up there, you will have no problem finding parking. It’s $8 for one adult to explore the museum other than that you can explore the gift shop for free. It’s not a big place but you can leisurely explore the area. It can get breezy and cold so wear a jacket/coat/hoodie. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Remember going here a few years ago and it was honestly a nice place, including a nice little beach, but i don’t think there’s swimming allowed, i’m not sure. The walking trails are nice and the lighthouse is pretty cool along with the old house that comes along with the attraction. There are a few trails and they’re all a decent length

What a beautiful place.Picturesque light house on a pristine lake. The light house was a wonderful place with a small log cabin next door. A few wonderful trails as well as a wonderful place to take a walk on the beach. They also have a good size free parking lot and a handful of bathrooms as well. What an absolutely gorgeous drive from Traverse City to Mission Point Lighthouse.

A must visit if you're on the peninsula. We've visited twice now. Most recently the lighthouse was open and we were able to see inside. I noticed initially it looked like the lake level was down a bit from 3 years ago when we were last there. Inside, there was a map showing the water levels from years past and yep, this year its down a bit. Lots of history and a great view of the lake. The water is crystal clear!

The views, the history, the water, the hikes, what an outstanding area! The drive out here takes you through rolling hills of Cherry Trees and wineries! It's worth it just for the drive itself! There is a beautiful beach to walk down, and you can swim if you would like. The dogs of course had to get into the water. There are benches to just sit and watch the waves! Make sure to take your time and read all the signs and history of this area. You can climb the lighthouse tower when it's open, and there is a small giftshop inside the lighthouse as well. And yes, dogs are also allowed to come and enjoy the outside area here!

Nice area with access to the beach, some walking trails, a log cabin to view and you can visit the inside of the lighthouse. Lighthouse was $5/adult and kids under 6 are free. I found the money going towards a good cause for the upkeep of an interesting landmark on the peninsula.

This was a lovely walk in the park and a history-lover fun day. The day I went was the one day of the year that the log house was open, it was very cool. Randy and Anita were full of facts and knowledge. The lighthouse museum was interesting and learned a lot about this particular one.

It was totally worth it to take the kids up to see. You have to pay to go up, but you can go in the gift shop for free. I paid $24 for one adult and two children under the age of 11 and one toddler (free) to go in. Staff was incredibly caring and enthusiastic about their jobs. You can tell that they all really care about preserving the history of the lighthouse. Lots of neat things to read and artifacts to see. We enjoyed it very much and happened to be there for the log cabin day and got to explore that and learn about that as well. Parking is easy, short walk from the parking lot to the actual lighthouse. Neat view from the top but very cramped and very hot! I do not recommend climbing up to the very top if you have extremely wide hips or a bigger belly or are extremely tall, it was difficult to get up there and cramped inside- only a few people at a time. You definitely need to be able bodied as well, and there is no alternative for someone in a wheelchair or with physical restrictions that prevent them from climbing stairs.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mission Point Lighthouse during our Lake Michigan road trip adventure, and it was an absolute highlight! As passionate photographers, our mission was to capture the beauty of lighthouses along our journey, and Mission Point Lighthouse did not disappoint. The lighthouse itself is a charming piece of Michigan history, nestled at the north end of a scenic drive through cherry orchards and vineyards. It may no longer guide mariners, but it now guides curious souls like us into the past, offering a glimpse of life from a bygone era.The staff and volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing our experience with fascinating stories about the lighthouse's history. We even had the chance to climb all the way up to the tower for breathtaking views of the surrounding area. It's a photographer's dream come true!We also explored the park's unspoiled trails, enjoyed picnicking, and soaked in the stunning sunset views. The beach and hiking trails are perfect for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers alike. The gift shop is a treasure trove for lighthouse enthusiasts, offering a wide range of exclusive lighthouse-related souvenirs. Don't forget to check out the unique snow globes! As travelers and photographers, we're active on social media as Stray Compass Life, and we couldn't resist sharing our Mission Point Lighthouse experience with our followers. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking history, natural beauty, and a touch of lighthouse magic. We were pleased to support the mission of this lighthouse and gladly paid the admission fee, knowing it helps preserve this historical gem for future generations.Whether you're a history buff, a photographer, or simply someone looking for a serene spot to unwind, Mission Point Lighthouse should be on your Lake Michigan itinerary. This is a beautiful lighthouse! It was closed so we didn't tour inside but really enjoyed the lake. Dogs are allowed on a leash and the water was clear and calm. We were intrigued by all the shells that made a shell bar. Water in this area is shallow and birds were gathering on the rocks far out. A nice place to hang for chill time. Good parking and satellite toilets.

First timer there. All the staff were just great! Had a good time. I started out with $20.00 dollars and came out very happy. Hey, while your reading this. Get the rewards card and use it for your last gamble. Don't forget to use the service button on any slot machine if you are having any problem or question. They are there to help you out. I had a BLAST!

Always have a good time there. I like to have a pour of bourbon while my wife plays slots. Having worked in the casino industry for over a decade Turtle Creek doesn't disappoint. Just wish I could hit like I did back in 2009 there. That was a memorable birthday. But still fun to stop on while headed to or from TC.

We had the greatest time bringing our out of state guests to the casino. We had never been. The people who worked there were very friendly and warm. We will definitely come back.We really appreciated the shuttle service. The driver was very kind.

Nancy Rummel — Google review

Location was perfect for the horse show right around the corner! Rooms we beautiful and clean. Pricey for sure but worth the money for a one night stay. Slots weren't very giving but honestly most slots aren't. Only complaint was I wish there were more food choices for quick and easy.

We used to enjoy visiting but since the pandemic we’ve been here a handful of times for about 20 minutes each time. Not even long enough to grab a beer and get excited. My suggestion is that you at least attempt to keep people there long enough to enjoy themselves. I’m not asking for a jackpot. I’m asking for a date night longer than 20 minutes. Thanks.

Mel — Google review

We went there for dinner at Bourbon 72, the food was amazing. Everything we had came out perfect. Our waitress Claire was great. We will definitely will be going back. And if you love French onion soup this is the place to go it was delicious.

This casino hotel is one of the worst I have stayed at. The hot water did not work. So There was no shower in the morning. They didn't do anything at the front desk for that when i brought it to there attention and he just said they had a issue but its working now but it was just before checkout so i couldn't take one. Also one of the bartenders did not have very good customer service skills at all . He seemed like is whole job was a inconvenience. Now not to mention if you go outside you need to sanitize your hands everytime you come in now let's be real here that is so annoying and if you don't do it they will track you down. No smoking at all or a smoking room in the casino. My mom got food poisoning from the shrimp she ate and was sick and couldn't sleep the whole night. She said she remembered some of the pieces of the fried shrimp feeling mushy so they probably didn't cook it all the way And she got sick. I had a room with 2 beds and the beds were small full size not queen. I stayed at little river casino the night before and that was a great casino to stay at compared to this one. It was a big let down.

Erika Thompson — Google review

Love this place. Clean, neat, often quiet. Close to Traverse City with all it has to offer. Prices fair depending on night. Food choices ok. Lots of modern slot machines placed so not at all crowded.

Robert B — Google review

My daughter and I stayed there for a horse show recently. The front desk people were very nice that is why I gave any stars. You pay a lot of money and get very little in return. I stayed there almost two weeks and my room was cleaned once and it wasn't really cleaned. I asked FOUR different times for the room to be cleaned. Each time the desk person would say I will make sure it is done. I even talked to managers several times. We had to come down to get towels several times. Like I said, I stayed there about 2 weeks and they wouldn't give me more then two complimentary bottles of water. There is no continental breakfast or anything. Therapy they “cleaned” my room I had to ask of course and waited in the room for them. They did an ok job. They asked if I wanted the floor swept and mopped. Then of course did it when I said yes. The one lady who cleans is very nice. In fact every person I spoke with that worked there was very nice. The entire staff was very kind.I understand that in the world today we have a lot of businesses that are struggling with keeping a full staff. However, the cost of this hotel is high, I would expect a little more when paying this price. I am currently at a different hotel paying less and it is on the water, they clean the rooms every other day. Front desk asked if needed any water and home many when I just went to ask them a question about things to do in the area. Those are the kind of things that make the price more worth it.

Jennifer Schraw — Google review

The casino is OK. The poker room was removed, there's no live roulette table, and the blackjack rules are less favorable than most other casinos (hitting on a soft 17 instead of 16, blackjack payout is lower). Go for the slots -- that's where they shine.

Justin Godwin — Google review

I am a hotel SNOB.. I was very pleased with my stay here! It’s so clean and modern.. I LOVE the dim motion lights in the bathroom.. the seating was trendy but comfortable.. I could do without the sliding bathroom door because it doesn’t offer complete privacy, but otherwise I’m super impressed with this tiny casino hotel in northern Michigan

Stacy Glass — Google review

Had a wonderful visit. The remodeled rooms are fantastic and have so many nice little well thought out features such as the lighting and the foot rest in the shower. Really liked that floors were hardwood, which feels better than yucky old carpet. Had a great time in the casino. Food options felt a little limited and pricey but not terrible.

wendy cohen — Google review

Loved visiting the casino. Everyone was so kind and made our experience wonderful. We didn't gamble too much, just a few rounds of blackjack and a couple slot machines. Absolutely loved the gift shop and the lady working there. I will definitely be back to maybe win some money next time.

Experience Modern Comfort and Gaming Fun at Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel in Traverse CityDuring our recent visit to Traverse City for a sports tournament, my partner and I had a comfortable stay at the Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel. The hotel is quite expensive but modern and upscale, offering free parking and a nice service for check-in and check-out.The rooms were spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and a nice big shower. We particularly loved the interior design of the room inspired by the native american culture, which added to the overall experience. The hotel is directly connected to the casino, which makes visiting the gaming halls easy and fun. It's a great place to relax and have some fun during your stay in Traverse City.Overall, we can recommend Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel for anyone looking for modern comfort and gaming fun during their visit to Traverse City.Turtle Creek Casino & Hotel in Traverse City is a nice place to stay! With modern amenities, friendly service, and direct access to the casino, it's worth my 5-star review recommendation!

Way better blackjack experience than I’ve had at other casinos. For starters, I was pleased to see $10 tables on a holiday weekend. Once at the table for a bit, I was surprised to learn this casino offered a surrender option, something I have yet to see at Gun Lake, Soaring Eagle, and out of state casinos I’ve been to. Later on, I was talking with another player about differences in basic strategy when the dealer hits or stands on soft 17. The dealer informed me that phones are welcome at the table for players to reference basic strategy, which was also something I have yet to see anywhere else. It was a great experience and I would go out of my way to plan a trip from Grand Rapids to this casino rather than others.

Ethan Cowlbeck — Google review

Best time I’ve had in a year! And best casino in all of Michigan! Great place for us to wind down. A great thank you to Turtle Creek! I loved the room and the bed was comfy! I lazed away the morning, in bed, all 3 days!!!

Lori Switala — Google review

The casino is new and the rooms are very nice, but that’s where it stops. There is no self serve drink stations you can not find staff to get drinks, the restaurant was under staffed, we waited for two hours to get our food and when we received our food it was mediocre at best. The casino slots for high limits never hit they would not do a comp despite circulating over $5000. Do not recommend

Nichole Bridegroom — Google review

I didn't stay in the hotel so I can't speak to the service there. When we arrived we went to the players club booth to sign up since it was our first time visiting. The ladies there were great, they were super friendly and explained everything to us about how to earn points and potential rewards. Beyond that service was basically non existent. I saw one server in the 3 hours we were there. The drink stations only have carbonated beverages or unsweetened tea and coffee so for people who can't have soda there are no options. I don't think I heard a jackpot go off once the whole time we were there. There were only 2 blackjack tables one roulette table and a couple different poker tables open. Overall I wasn't impressed and probably won't return.

Sprawling park land covered in old growth forest features rolling hills overlooking AuSable River.

If you are a avid fan of forests then this is a great state park to visit it has a beautiful area it's a beautiful area of old growth forest of which many are old pines that are just fantastic great place to take pictures if you are a landscape photographer and a great place to have is great place to have some solitude. In the Winter the pathways were quite icy so probably not a great place for older adults or young children but I'm sure in the summer it is perfectly fine not aware of other facilities only visited the old growth forest while visiting.

Serene…there’s just something majestic about the pine trees and walking where you feel like you’re completely alone yet with friends in nature. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The bridge crossing the river is out of order but otherwise worth a hike. We had a little picnic and just enjoyed walking the trail with lots of cute mushrooms hidden along the way.

J Sheldon — Google review

Nice place to camp. Quiet and polite campers. Visitor center had lots of info. Nice hiking trials inside and outside the park. No cell phone service for Verizon which was actually nice. Very clean showers. Only 1 dump station.

Brianne Shadewald — Google review

Hartwick Pines is a really nice state park campground! Many of the sites are large, have level asphalt pads, are wooded/full-shade, and are very secluded. Some of the sites are full sun/partial shade but the draw to them is they are pull-through.The showers and bathrooms were always clean and I noticed employees there frequently checking and cleaning them.It was very quiet on the weekend we stayed there even though it was fully booked. The only sound complaint is of the extremely loud, low-flying helicopters going to the air force base nearby. Four or five flew over during the duration of our stay. The only other complaint is that there isn't really a beach area or place to go fishing. Also, the park is very sprawling and expect to drive 5+ minutes to get anywhere inside it. The paved trail through the old growth forest definitely made up for it though! That in itself is worth a visit.

Kaitlyn — Google review

Very easy, relaxing trail to go on. A few historical buildings worth stopping at. Definitely kid friendly and all trails are paved. A picnic area and park are accessible here by the Mertz trail or directly from the lower parking lot.

Awesome!! We walked the trail from the logging camp on the first loop. About 3 miles. Nice trail for walking or biking. Plenty of hills for a good challenge.

Bonnie Bellner — Google review

Beautiful park, well maintained trails. Very quiet and peaceful, trails were well marked and taken care of. They had plenty of dog stations also. Will be going back again.

aaron ayala — Google review

Very nice campground, bathroom and shower facilities are the best I have seen. We took our two grandchildren which us why I rated. 3, the playground is unusable which I was not aware of when booking. The hike to the Glory and Bright lakes was very nice, however I did not realize when I booked there is no swimming at the campground or these lakes you need to drive to other state parks nearby. The museum, chapel and memorial building were great although more for adults than kiddos.A very nice place for adults and a couple days with kids, not a full week.

Roxie Miller — Google review

This park and campground were very nice. The hikes were quite fun and the museum area was really cool to walk through. The campground was well maintained and the showers were some of the best ones I've seen. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

Isaac Fankhauser — Google review

When we stayed at the campground, it was before they really opened up for the season. Unfortunately, we had wild fires while we were there. We didn't get to see inside the buildings because they were closed by the time we got there. Bathrooms were clean. Sites were semi level. Over all I say it is a nice park. The lakes were nice and looked like they would have good fishing.

This is another place where I spent some serious summer time as a child. Lots of great memories. Was disappointed as I couldn’t find a concession store but I thoroughly enjoyed the many trails. Most were completely empty on a beautiful day in May. Some were still quite wet but the solitude and beauty were exactly what I remembered. Tall pines. Logging camp history. Chapel in the Woods. All good.

Park

Lakeside park with a swimming beach plus opportunities for fishing, hiking, camping & picnicking.

Words cannot accurately describe this beautiful place. Waters the color of the Caribbean, great camping, hiking and a gorgeous lake... you'll never want to leave. Just be sure to choose a site on South side of the lake, the North side is ok but only one restroom/shower up a hill and nowhere near the camp store.

Rented a mini-cabin here in middle October 2022. It’s a pretty, classic Michigan State Park! The Mini Cabin has electric heat which works well, a mini fridge, and a microwave. My only complaint is that there is no outlet on the exterior of the cabin so you cannot trickle charge an EV, for example. Not really an issue this time of year since there are many open campsites nearby but something to keep in mind if you’re driving here with an EV and plan to stay at one of the cabins.

We are taking our new RV out on it shakedown cruise. We want to be relatively close to home in case we run into problems. Nicely shaded. Trees are a mix of pines and hardwoods. We are here midweek and early June, so we are not crowded. There is a nice beach area, and a dog beach for those who travel with their dogs, and boat launching area. Near by are rivers for canoeing/kayaking. There are also hiking trails in the park.

North Higgins Lake State Park is stunning in autumn. The colorful forest and calm lake create a peaceful setting. The trails are well-maintained for leisurely walks, and there are nice spots for picnics. The facilities are basic but clean. It's a great place for nature lovers to relax in Michigan's fall beauty.

Raul O — Google review

Sooooo beautiful. Clear water (one of the clearer lakes I’ve been in Míchigan) and wonderful areas to relax for a while. There were some kind of pest caterpillars on the trees which fall over everything (also your belongings) but the place is fantastic and it’s worthy. Nice toilets and barbecue areas. Small but clean Sandy (beach) to enjoy.

Glenda Navarro — Google review

Definitely lived up to the rumors. This was quiet and tranquil. Great for a relaxing time. Not a party hot spot. Super quiet. Bathrooms were a little outdated but clean amd kept up. Breathtaking views of the lake and great kayaking/water access.

🌊🌊♥️♥️North Higgins is our favorite local lake so far! We drive 45 mins to and from; but we enjoy ourselves, every time! Our kids love to play in the beautiful, crystal clear, always cold, lake; than go dry off by swinging on the swings and playing on the play areas. They have a very nice recreational area and permanent grills 🍖 🔥 setup around the beach area and wooden tables to set and keep your things nice and together! They have awesome rubber beach mats to make the walk through the sand down to the water easier on shoeless feet. 👣 👣 North Higgins also does half covered areas for get togethers, events, bday parties 🎉!Additionally, they also offered canoe rentals. However, we haven’t yet had the budget for canoeing 🛶 yet, so I am not sure of the pricing options but it is listed on the trailer your rent them from.👍👍 Nice public bathrooms! Which are accessible when the park is opened for the season; and are closed when out of season. They also offer a sand rinse-off area; so you can lessen the sand, you track back into your vehicle! 🚘 🏖️Oh! And be sure to watch for those seagulls, they’ll steal your food; if they can get to it! 🦅 ( <—not an actual seagull, merely a dramatization, lol)🛑 Due note: 🛑This park does require you to have the park pass you can purchase from them at $17 for the length of your plate time or from your local dmv at a discounted price when you renew your plates/tags/etc but gets your access to all the state parks! 🌲 🌲 🛝 Which is, awesome in itself! If you are a Michigan resident, you are unable to purchase a day pass. Not quite sure why it’s regulated that way, as we found it a bit odd, but we signed up for the pass with us being residents. Non-residents have the ability to purchase a day pass for a discounted cost.Lastly, all in all, we love it and always enjoy our time there and leave refreshed, relaxed and sun kissed, not burnt! ☀️ See ya next North Higgins. Stay fresh to def!

Words cannot describe how beautiful Higgins Lake is, which is why im adding photos with this review. The turquoise crystal clear blue water with white sandy bottoms is so calming for the soul. We love how peaceful the view on the lake from our kayaks was. The boaters were so respectful of kayakers and it was not over crowded on the lake or the beach. If i won the lotto i would live on this lake

Robyn K — Google review

Nice campground on the north shore of Higgins Lake. The area is heavily wooded, so most sites are shaded with mature trees. There is a beach, including a pet friendly area, with picnic tables and a playground. The two campgrounds also have playgrounds. There are modern restrooms and showers that are clean and well maintained. A negative for some might be road noise as the campground is close to the highway. Also, there are no grassy sites due to the trees. For those with boats, there is a boat ramp with cleaning stations and plenty of parking. They even have an area where you can store your boat if you do not have room on your site. All in all, a very nice park that I plan to visit again.

Gil Flangeworm — Google review

I love this campground and beach! The sites on the side opposite of the road are much better, but they all are at the least super decent. The lake was close and perfect to swim and kayak, I'll come back!

hannah gorby — Google review

Very family oriented. Kids had a wonderful time water was still a little cold but that's too be expected for memorial weekend. lots of ppl fun atmosphere, have a small stand that $ sells $ flotation devices and toys for children to play with. Not to bad of prices for us that forget to bring them.

Jeffrey Buck — Google review

Always And forever amazing. The best Island Lake in Michigan The best for small kids. The Blue water and long shallow shore makes it very safe.

Zofia Romanczuk — Google review

Very clear water which stays shallow for nearly 100 yards out. If you want a safe swim place for kids, this is it.The main beach is long and there are lots of shade trees. Only complaint is that it's a far walk from the car! If you are bringing lots of food and stuff down, definitely bring a cart to haul.

Yitz Pierce — Google review

Every year we get a little more disappointed. People get louder and louder and quiet time isn't enforced. The food truck is gone. Lots of dogs on the beach this year. The campground itself is nice and the bathrooms and showers have been very clean. Camp host does a craft for the kids. The trail to the lake is not lighted tho, make sure you have a flashlight!! Some rule changes mean you can't drop your kayaks off and park your car at the docks anymore. We may just day trip from now on.

Outlet mall

Shopping

Shopping-mall chain featuring a variety of brand-name & designer outlet stores.

This is a nice little strip mall to come shopping to, but I like the fresh air going from shop to shop. I do miss a couple of the shops that they had which were Rue21 and the kitchen shop, and I don’t think that they had re-open the Ralph Lauren outlet either. But still nice to shop the strip and see what’s on sale.

Ms Martha Galan — Google review

This mall used to be full of stores and always busy. It lost a lot of businesses a few years back but I was happy to see there were 2 new shops open yesterday, with 2 more getting ready to open. I hope this is a sign of things to come.Check out the new resale shop, lots of stuff. Or take a painting class!

Lindsay Major — Google review

🤔mhmm, it’s something to do in a small town. Not too bad. They just opened in July so I don’t expect it to be hit single however I could see it becoming one in the future. The bathrooms were extremely clean. There are also a few locally owned shops which is always a plus. There’s this really nice winery place here and the owner I think seems to be really sweet. She didn’t say much, only a high and have a nice day but the way she said it, sounded like she was genuinely happy we considered coming into her store. You don’t get those smiles often haha.

Tiray Randle — Google review

As a member of the West Branch Outlet Mall, I receive emails when they have great deals or sales going on. I enjoy taking my daughter and / or my granddaughter, and we make a day of shopping and grabbing lunch together. The atmosphere is relaxing and very enjoyable.

Lacie Sudau — Google review

This place needs new ownership. There is so much that can be done to generate income for the businesses that chose the opportunity to try. It's not convenient to get to, at all. I get to see the back of the stores and their dumpsters before ever seeing the front entrance to the businesses. In my opinion, Applesbee's is the business that brings the customers into the outlet. Hope they get compensated for the advertising. But I have to say that the restrooms were very nice. I now understand how the budget was utilized.

Tony Kralik — Google review

We went to a cool store called Made in America. I definitely recommend this store. Fantastic items for sale and the owners are very nice!

Dawn Johnson — Google review

Small store , some lots selections Hanes product and old Navy , clean place nice for quick stop 🛑

Maelca Duncan (MAELCA) — Google review

This is the last of the outlet malls. Those who shop here enjoy it, restrooms are clean and its still a good place for the times when you might like a real store to shop. Applebees next store.

Rocket Enterp (Team Rocket) — Google review

Lots of closed store fronts, still has some pretty decent stores, was very quiet the day I was there. Sad to see so little much has left

Mark H. — Google review

It is not what it used to be. Not many shops. The antique shop was packed full of beautiful pieces. The resale shop was nice, needs some music inside. The restrooms were so clean. we did buy a few things in the Hanes shop. The prices are more than average for an outlet mall.

Dow gardens is a great place to go with the family & kids! It's a great way to experience nature! I enjoyed getting the exercise & fresh air! The kids play area by the Cafe was really nice! We could take off our shoes and put our feet in the water, & enjoy the splash n play area, it was wonderful to be able to cool off after walking through the Beautiful Gardens & scenery. I am a mother of 6 children And another thing we enjoyed was the children's garden!! They were able to Water all the plants & vegetables & Could pick 2 items of their choice that was ready to pick. The kids Loved it! And it was Very cheap too. Worth every penny and I will definitely be going back!

Not much color for a gardenThere is some great architecture with the bridges and canopy walks, but very little color and flowers for a garden. The canopy walk is very neat to explore with abstract art involved. You can walk over the glass corner or sprawl out over the nets. Be prepared to walk, this place is large and very spread out, so many sections to explore. Try to go on a weekday to beat the crowds.Disappointed that there are not more flowers. There are plenty of tulips, but those will not last all season, so be prepared for no flowers if you don't go in Spring.

K R — Google review

Highly recommend!! I took a solo trip to the Gardens and Canopy Walk today, and wow, amazing! The adult ticket is $10 (you can leave and come back the same day). I spent three hours there and didn't see it all! The cafe had good prices on drinks, snacks, and light food options. It was busy but they kept the line moving quickly.

Shannon Stanhope — Google review

Decided to take a day trip with the wife to see some fall colors. It was both of our first time here, and we will be back! There is so much to explore, see, and do. The canopy walk was really cool. There are a few play areas for kids and some areas to have a nice picnic. If your looking for somewhere fun to explore outdoors for not a lot of money I highly reccomend Dow Gardens.

Steven DeFour — Google review

This was a great 1 mile walk through nice lights, but not many. Highlight was the reindeer.Wheel chairs on the path does not work. We had my mom in a chair and going over the grass as well as mulch and dirt was difficult needed 3 of us to manage the task. Great for family and not overwhelming for kids.

L Ethier — Google review

If you live in Midland, definitely worth signing up for the annual pass($20/person)! While a one-time ticket for adults is $10. One of the best places to visit in town for everyone! A lot of places for kids and my in-laws visiting us from India and they love it too. The garden is well maintained with clean facilities. Cannot wait to visit in the Fall 🍁

SiennaLei — Google review

What a beautiful place to spend an afternoon. I walked and enjoyed ponds, creeks, waterfalls, an array of foliage, bridges and a sky bridge. There is soo much to see. Great place to take kids. There is something for everyone. A park and splash pad for younger children, another park for any age and a sky bridge for older children. Gardens galore!

Penny King — Google review

I went to these gardens for a wedding. Very peaceful to walk around in. A lot of little birds to see. Definitely go if you appreciate nature. Some areas are a little difficult to walk around but there are accessible paths most places

Dan — Google review

This garden is just stunning. A beautiful place to do a photo shoot for sure. They have an area for kids to play and a food area. You can picnic as well, just bring a blanket. They have a tree hut with ropes that the kids just love. Lots of fun. You can expect to spend at least 3 hours here easily.

Crystal Wend — Google review

The Garden of Glass exhibit featuring Craig Smith of Lansing, Michigan was fantastic. The beautiful fall foliage and exquisite art work made the visit memorable. The exhibit drew a wide range of enthusiasts from family's with small children to wedding parties.Plan on spending 2 to 3 hours exploring all of the exhibits. There are many places to sit for a while to soak in all of the beauty. The exhibit ends soon, so get outside while the weather is pleasant.

David Fogle — Google review

Probably the most well known destination in Midland county and for a very good reason. Visit any time of the year, but especially in the Spring or Summer, and explore this gem. The sprawling grounds are manicured and maintained to a very high degree and there are points of interest everywhere. It's simply beautiful to walk through and , even though I've visited this place repeatedly, I always find something to ponder and gaze at that I somehow didn't see before. If you're a tree "enthusiast" ( like me) this is a destination not to be missed. Add to that a children - friendly play area, a large tropical indoor garden, a huge rose garden, water settings with pathway bridges, sculptures and endless perennial plants. And don't forget the adjacent Whiting Forest with its elevated pathway and another kid friendly play area. ( You can get on the elevated pathway from Dow Gardens. Just head for the Rose Garden area)Want more? Take a tour of the Dow mansion next door or the adjacent home designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, which was also built for the Dow family.Prices are very reasonable for all these attractions.

MikeHgl — Google review

One of the most peaceful places to visit within the state. The gardens are well-maintained and has plenty of nature trails and sights of see. I visited here in the summer years ago and just recently in the spring. There were many spring trees and flower blooms. I can’t wait to visit again next year!

Andrew the Great — Google review

It's amazing not only because of its size but on how well it has been keeping up, almost every inch is so well maintained, layers of matching height brilliant color landscape, weed-free everywhere -- I know how impossible it would be compared with my own tiny yards. Took me over 4 hours just to have a quick glimpse. For sure, the canopy walk was the highlight, it more like a huge backyard playset but at a huge grand scale.

J Wong — Google review

Must see place in my opinion. Can't wait to go back in the spring when everything is in bloom. The sky canopy was unbelievable, and my husband and I had so much fun in the hedge mazes. We wondered around four hours and are excited to go back again!

Amanda DeFour — Google review

This place is crazy beautiful in the fall! I now need to go back in the spring to see the flowers, but definitely a must do during Michigan leaves peak season. The canopy walk was a bit challenging as I am afraid of height, but I still manages to do it with a few tears and a lot of support from my family. I was worth it.

Great for an outdoor adventureThis is a great place to take a walk, bring your dog or take a bike ride. There is also a kayak launch into the river. Very peaceful park and a neat bridge. I sat on the benches at the top and it was relaxing. The new lights and deck are awesome too. A great place to visit on a slow day.

Every visit I am amazed by the number of people that visit the Tridge. The activities include kayaking, canoeing, roller blading, skateboarding, cycling, and so much more. There are grassy spaces, paved paths, a play area, a skate park, a dog park, and so much more.

What a cool place!! Beautiful setting! Located downtown so an easy walk from eating/shopping venues.. clean and well maintained! People fishing from the banks, wildlife.. very pleasant!

Elizabeth Curnow — Google review

What a beautiful walk!If walking is hard for you or you have handicap needs, the Tridge is an excellent destination as it has close parking and isn't huge. If you're a runner or enjoy walking, it connects to several different trails, most notably, the Chippewa Nature Center (3.5 miles) and the Scenic Overlook (2 miles). In the summer months the local farmers market is a great stop on Saturdays. Also a great location for senior pictures.

Very nice place in Midland! It was our first time here, but won't be the last. There's a great trail here that goes all the way to Clare! We will be bringing the bikes next time.

Minor-league baseball stadium & home to the Great Lakes Loons also features suites & a kids' area.

We had a great family night watching Moana and running on the field. Cant wait to go back this weekend to watch a game. Concessions were pretty reasonable, facility was spotless. Staff was very helpful and kind. Great place for the entire family

We have been to Dow Diamond a few times now with our three children. Each time they have received a free hot dog meal! They love playing on the playground after we've sat and watched the game on the lawn seats. The entire facility is so well maintained, clean and all the employees are very friendly. They have gotten their ball caps signed by the mascot and the first base coach which they thought was amazing! My husband works at Dow and being able to see his work banners around the field is pretty exciting! We can also see their buildings from the diamond which was super cool for our kids to be able to see after a great day of watching baseball!

You forgot about it being a baseball complex. The place is spotless and spacious! The wedding I attended, this place fits the bill for the bride and groom. He played baseball and she played softball in college. Any ways, The staff ran like a well oiled machine. The food was super delicious, seasoned well and served hot!Don’t pass on this venue if you are looking for a venue for a special event.

They had a food giveaway and it was definitely worth going. They handed out coffee and cookies to everyone and even brought it right up to the cars through the window delivery. So very nice. Everyone was so kind and friendly it was welcoming. They gave away great big boxes full of food and even a 10 dollar gift card/voucher for whatever might still be needed. Very Very Generous and I am thoroughly impressed with staff, wait time, organization skills . A big thank you to Midland Dow and EFPN and everyone else for all the generosity. State park

Nature & Parks

Bay City State Park is a scenic location that offers a variety of outdoor activities, such as biking, fishing and hiking. It also provides campsites for visitors who wish to stay overnight. The park has stunning views of the local nature, with wheelchair access available on the sand for all to enjoy some fun in the sun. There is also a relatively large splash pad located near the park's vicinity for children to play around in. The nature trails are well maintained and not too difficult to walk on.

One of the best place for trails in my opinion. The visitor center was open and it was nice and warm. Bathrooms were open and clean. Workers were polite and knowledgeable of the animals and history of the marsh. Beach was clean but during the summer I don't recommend going to the beach due to the zebra muscles and the sea gulls. There is a camping area across the street and a ice cream/small restaurant called muscle beach that is really good.

kiyona — Google review

My wife and I took a last minute Labor Day camping trip.... it was our first time here and we can't wait to come back. Large campground, many sites are huge! Clean, updated bathrooms and showers. The campground is across the street from an awesome beach (part of the State Park), huge beach, plus you can use a lot of the water as it's shallow a long ways out! Relatively short drive from the Detroit area. We will be adding this campground to our summer camping list.

Daniel Decker — Google review

Went here while everything was frozen and covered in snow. It is super impressive to see that much water frozen. Was able to walk out onto it. The wind was no joke but it was definitely an experience. One of those places that had something interesting to offer year round.

Very nice park, have stayed a few times. Park personnel are abundant and driving around. Park is quiet and family friendly. Lots are spacious and easy to locate. Enjoy the trees throughout and atmosphere. Rode bikes on the Tobico Marsh? Trail very nice and enjoyed the wooded stretch to observation tower.

HelloIt was great, we enjoyed the place, I took some photos, it has a playground, I think Bay City a small town but beautiful, the weather was so cold. The parking is free in part time, I recommend .

This state park is beutiful with some great views of the local nature. They even have wheelchair access on the sand so anyone can enjoy some fun in the sun. With a short walk you could also take your children to a fairly large splash pad. Nature trails are well kept and not to rough. Water was kind of scumy when we went but I know they don't have control over the lake. I definitely would recommend a visit to any nature lover or adventurous family.

Saginaw Bay is one of the largest freshwater coastal wetlands in the state of Michigan.Huge sandy beach great for walking and fun for the whole family. There are over 2000 acres of wetland woods, cattail marshlands and oak savannah prairies which makes for a great area for birding. Good trails with wooden walkways and lookouts. The Saginaw Bay Park is huge with a new " Play by the Bay " Park which is great for families as well as a Spray Park.If you are looking for a great area for biking, hiking, birding, swimming,or just to relax and watch the sunsets..come to Saginaw Bay State Park.

John Moore — Google review

Beautiful! Granted I went at night to witness the Northern Light but unfortunately the sky did not give way to such events.Instead, we sat, on top of the hill, amongst the playground equipment. There's a water park for children, which was off due to it being night time. We walked the beaches and listened to the frogs, and other night time beach critters. All in all, 10/10 recommend! The staff was kind and kept to themselves, the area was clean and there was plenty of seating and parking 😊 on my next trip to the great state of Michigan I will absolutely come visit this Park in the daytime 🥰

Beautiful end to a fun adventure at Dow Gardens! Headed back home after dunking our feet in the WARM water in October! Not used to that being from the Lake Michigan side of the state! We typically don't get our toes dipped in the water until August as the water is so cold!

The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum, housed in the U.S.S. Edson, offers self-guided tours featuring vintage artifacts and exhibits. Visitors can explore at their own pace and take in the ship's history, including information plaques, historical photos, books, objects and medals scattered throughout the vessel. The tour includes views of many areas such as guns rooms to crew quarters with knowledgeable staff available to share stories about their experiences on board.

Amazing! So much history! We took an unguided tour and enjoyed every moment. You go at ur own pace, you have time to look, explore, learn, take photos, and appreciate the greatness of this ship! There are information plaques, so very many historical photos, books, objects, and medals. You get to see so much, from the guns, torpedoes, the massive engines, mess hall, crew and officer quarters, the bridge, radar room, you can climb up to the top, and be "king of the world" at the bow! My family had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to share their stories and experiences. It was an adventure we will never forget!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience touring the USS Edson! We were lucky enough to have 2 guides (one of whom actually served on the Edson [thank you, Bruce B. For your service]). Spent approx 3.5 hours on the ship (certainly didn’t feel like it with the amount of info we were seeing & hearing). Definitely impressed and will recommend to my friends & family!

Laura Potter — Google review

I have been to a handful of museum ships and this was my first time touring a destroyer. We visited on a cloudy and chilly October day. The ship was pretty lonely sitting on the river and we had pretty much the run of the ship. The volunteers were friendly and personable upon our arrival. No real issues there. The primary issue that we had was some confusion on the tour route. We were given a paper handout with the tour directions but the signage throughout the ship wasn’t always logical. The ship itself is in decent shape. The volunteers seem to do a pretty good job maintaining the outside of the ship. Some of the outside areas could use a little more the non-slip tread applied because it was a little slick with the recent rains. The interior spaces were in various conditions with some areas pretty nice and other areas need a little upkeep.I feel that if I would improve something, it would be the various signage inside the ship including the tour route but also providing additional information about what we are looking at or what something does.Overall, it’s worth a visit if you are in the area.

Such an amazing Historic Location! They are preserving this beautiful ship and it's history! I strongly advise taking the time to visit and take the Historical Tour! Our group of Paranormal Investigators got to spend the night investigating. Such an honor! Thank you to all the hard working volunteers! Y'all are doing a tremendous job!

Jay Lynch — Google review

This is an extremely well preserved ship. You can go into many, many areas of the ship from the bridge down to the engine rooms. There is a map showing the layout of the ship. That is worth having with you during the visit. You aren’t likely to get lost, however it’s possible you will miss some of the areas of the ship without the map or find yourself retracing your steps. You can, for example, look into the gun mounts and see how the shells were loaded into the barrel. There is Full access to the crew and officers quarters as well as the various facets of the ship including Sickbay, administrative areas like the mail room and the ship’s mess. This has a very authentic feel, as if you can tell the ship was in action and used for a number of years and crewed by many men during those years. You get a great view of the surrounding area from the bridge level. Definitely make a visit to the gift shop.

Awesome museum ship. Great condition. The volunteers were so friendly and knowledgeable. Such a cool experience.

Chris K — Google review

Very cool experience! Awesome seeing this warship towering over you. Touring the inside in a self-guided tour was informative and eye opening, crazy to see how naval officers and naval crewmen live in these cramped quarters! Will be back at Halloween time when they turn this ship into a haunted house, called the Edson Incident, spooky!

Courtney — Google review

What a great place to visit and learn some amazing history! The people are amazingly nice and have wonderful stories to tell. We stopped while on a road trip and we are so glad we did! Thank you for your time and service!!

Dane M. — Google review

A very cool experience. So much to see while on the Edson. It's a self-guided tour with signs that explain things. Not a bad price for all you get to see. The staff are super cool and you can tell they have a respect for the ship and for our military.

Joe Nelson — Google review

Took the kids, they had a great time. 😁 Will definitely go again, the boat tour is self guided allowing you to revisit areas and get a good feel for the layout of the destroyer and of how the crew lived on board.

Drakinveyer — Google review

I served on the Edson from 86 until 88. My first time back was unbelievable. I didn't expect it to be so emotional, but it was. Even after all those years I could see the faces and hear the voices of those I served with. So many good good memories aboard the Edson. Our Guide was simply the best. He took me to the places I wanted to see. Its hard to describe how much the work and care is given to the Edson by those who work and volunteer. I cannot say a big enough thanks. Even if you were never in the military you need to stop by and see the Edson. I love that they have memorials to the Frank E Evans DD754. Once again THANKS!!!!

Darron McCord — Google review

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I appreciated the fact that most of the ship was accessible and there was no forced guide, allowing just about any path to take. We love military history and this was another check mark. Thanks!

Wildcards Rex — Google review

Great opportunity to see part of America's past. Very much worth going to see, many veterans come here and most of them are willing to tell you stories about when they were on their ships. Don't forget to donate a little extra for the extras, they still have a lot of refurbishing to do.

Stephen Kuch — Google review

What a great surprise to find this historic destroyer in Saginaw on our vacation. It had an easy to follow self guided tour, tons of interesting display and navy models, and half way through, Wayne (a volunteer) shared so many facts and helped guide us! Thanks so much

Zoo

Zoos & Aquariums

Zoo with interactive exhibits features 150 animals, 80 gardens & a hand-painted carousel.

Such a cute zoo! Tons of fun for the kids but also fun for adults too. Paths are paved, plenty of shade and benches to sit. The animals are all well kept with nice enclosures. There's a train and a carousel ride plus snack stands. Lots of pretty flower beds, anyone can adopt a flower bed and make your own special creations. The penguins are so adorable! When we went they were enjoying the shower of water, looked like they were playing. We go here every year, super cheap admission and cheap tickets for rides. Plus they have a cute little gift shop that's not too expensive. Recommend!

Donna Jo — Google review

Great zoo for little people. My youngest enjoyed it & it wasn't too much walking. The older kids were a little less enthusiastic about it. It was a little chilly when we went so some of animals weren't out, but a fun and quaint zoo. Great value for the price. We just found out (we've never been here before) that their zoo boo is one of their fundraisers. It was definitely worth the $8/ person to support a little zoo. There's a train ride around the perimeter of the zoo and it's a good view of animals in the back. They also have a carousel that holds little ones up to adults.Great value for a half day trip. If the animals were out, it could be a great family outing.

Christy Byers — Google review

A great place to take the kids for an afternoon of fun. This place is much more than a zoo! There are lots of fun things to do and experience here, from park playsets to fossil digs to floating bridges, there's something for everyone!

Benjamin Crockett (Naroghin) — Google review

This is a very nice and very well kept up with children's zoo. The animals were spaced out perfectly and had wonderful viewable areas. There are plenty of places to stop with the little ones to rest in shade. There is a great playground area that offers shade for adults. The nature gardens are beautiful and decorated very nice. They have scavenger hunts and crafts throughout as well. It was pretty cool that peaco*cks just roam around.

Nico Kinner — Google review

It has evolved over the years. Even though the whale gift shop is gone, the train is still awesome. We love the new variety of animals. The admission and gift shop have reasonable prices. It's worth it just to play at the playground equipment even. If you haven't been there recently, it's time to go back!

Saint Sara — Google review

I love this place I have been taking my kids for 16 years!!! ❤It's only 5$ and kids 3 and under are free!!! It's 1$ to ride the carousel and the train.Everyone who works here is so nice and always willing to help. I've never in 16 years had a bad experience here. They go above and beyond to make sure you and the kids have a blast! Can't wait to go back in 2023 it's the only time I feel like a kid again 😹

Jennifer Bogel — Google review

Small zoo. Very adorable for a nice afternoon trip. Took about 25 mins to view most of the animals. I believe this was opening weekend so a few of the animals were not out yet. There was a nice carousel ride as we were leaving. There was also some food options. My brother loved it. I’d go back if it wasn’t so far from my home.

Sierra B — Google review

Nice smaller zoo. They have a wonderful playground and fossil dig(sandbox) so the kids can burn off some energy. You can easily get through the whole zoo in an hour or two or stay longer with various activities for the kids. The carousel is nice and they have a floating bridge in the lily pond. Lots of animals for a small zoo.

Lora DeVoe — Google review

The PRAIRIE DOGS! This place is a must go simply for the prairie dog exhibit. They are the cutest, most lively form of entertainment I have seen at any zoo! Among the rest of the creatures at this fantastic place were birds, gators, wolves, deer, goats, monkeys, penguins, alpacas, and lamas. (I’m probably missing some.) The many flower gardens make it an absolutely breathtaking experience. All of the staff seem so happy to work there and be around the animals. The animals are well taken care of and happy to! We will definitely be back!

Katie Coombs — Google review

Perfect outing with our two year-old grandson. The grounds are so well taken care of and clean. Fun train ride and carousel as well as a playground, fossil find and miniature baseball diamond. Just enough animals to make it interesting and not overwhelming. Highly recommend.

Amy Wagner — Google review

We had a group of 8. 5 kids and 3 adults. For the 48 dollars it cost is, it was well worth it! The kids had a blast. We saw lots of different animals, and even all rode the train. Would definitely visit again! There's a few hands on things that the kids can do as well! I love to look at all their different garden set ups from donors as well. It's truly a beautiful zoo!

Amanda Trent — Google review

I had the pleasure of visiting the Saginaw zoo today with my partner and children. It is a small, but beautiful zoo that is perfect for a day out with the family. We have been going to this zoo since we were kids, and it is great to share the experience with our children. The zoo is always making improvements, and it is clear that the staff is dedicated to providing a great experience for visitors. The animals are well-cared for and the exhibits are clean and well-maintained.While the train was closed due to construction it usually gives a unique perspective of the zoo. The train ride is a great way to see all of the animals, and it is a lot of fun for kids. I can’t wait for the train to be back after the construction improvements.Overall, we had a great time at the Saginaw zoo. It is a great place to visit with the family, and we would definitely recommend it to others.

Kyle B — Google review

We decided to stop here as a surprise for our kids (ages 9y and 7y) on the way back from a nearby staycation. I am so happy we did! This is a great, unique little zoo. There were a few exhibits down, but I think you come across that at any zoo. They also had some new enclosures being built, which makes me excited for a later visit. The floating bridge over the marsh walk was my favorite! The zoo was very affordable (entry for 4 people, and 2 tickets for the carousel only ran us $32), and thankfully it was not overcrowded either (we got there about 1230pm on a Monday). The animals all looked healthy and the staff there was friendly and professional. Our family has food allergies, and the staff at the food service areas had no problem helping us find safe foods, it was greatly appreciated. We took our time enjoying every bit of the small zoo, we ended up staying about 4hrs, but you could easily get through it much faster. Overall, I'm really glad we stopped, it was a great day outing for all of us, and I definitely plan to go back again next year to see the new exhibits and ride the train.

November 2021 - family of 5 went on the Polar express. We went on a Saturday night and had a blast. My 3 daughters are under 10. We went on Vixen and the 2 young ladies did a great job keep us entertained. We go to Ashley, MI. Its a small town and we went right to Santa. Didn't wait long. A lot of things for the kids to do. The volunteers are wonderful. You can make or buy items there. You can get food. We plan on doing this again next year with more family and friends. Tickets normally go on sale in the spring.

The North Pole Express was a magical experience. We went with a group of my Mom-Friends and our kids. We got the seats in the dining cars. The kids sipped on hot cocoa, had delicious treats brought to us on the on the way there and back. The staff in our car (Holly) lead Christmas songs and shared historical information about the train. The conductor came around on the way home and signed the Polar Express book that we bought in Ashley. Ashley completely transformed into the North Pole. All of the staff and vendors there were so incredibly joyful and in character! I was so impressed, it was Disney level commitment. There was a free magic show there, the Grinch, shops, rides, a toy shop where kids could make a toy and so many nods to the Polar Express movie. We loved it! Worth every penny and we will definitely do this again. Also making a trip back to Ashley because we didn’t get to do everything. If you go, definitely wear your pajamas like in the movie! Lots of people do this or wear matching shirts and holiday hats, necklaces, etc. You can bring snacks on the train, so that is great. Water bottles and non-sugary snacks are a good idea for the kiddos.

Jennifer Marie — Google review

This was our first trip on the Pere Marquette. We choose the swivel chairs which turned out to be an excellent choice for comfort and viewing. The staff in our car and elsewhere were incredibly friendly and made the trip fun. The town of Ashley is definitely geared towards children but it's fun to check out the small stores. Overall, it was a fun experience.

Great history of the railroad. Friendly, knowledgeable, fun tour guides. Great exhibits, real working trains that you can see and touch and explore. They restore old trains to teach the history of how the railroad shapes our country

Sarah DeLany — Google review

It was awesome to visit, you were about to go through the train coaches, ride the small 7.5" train, buy amazing souvenirs, and see them repairing the Polar Express.

My family and I came for the polar express and wow what a experience. The conductors were beyond friendly and the two we had in our car Denise and Joni were so fun! They coordinated Christmas songs with fun aides and snow ball races. I can't wait to do it again and want to visit the institute in the summer to view the building.

Austin Ramos — Google review

I'm waiting for the Steam Railroading Institute to come back to Kalkaska Station. You wouldn't recognize this place. The rails, ties, switch and siding are improved and replaced. The "Section-Gang" has this place ready for some "big" shared event.

We were given a nice tour of the trains!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable. My grandson really enjoyed it. They have a nice train table for kids to play with. They also have a goody bag for all the kids that come there.

Colette Kremer — Google review

It was quite an experience here I've been wanting to go here for years. Not sure why but I finally made it only to see The polar Express was getting maintenance done so sorry to say this year I don't think there's going to be rides with this train pulling anyone. The wheels were completely off the train. Our tour guide that we had which is very informative about everything. I really enjoyed all he was telling me. I wish I could remember his name but he said that in my lifetime I'll never see this happen again to The polar Express train that was the train that featured in The polar Express movie. So next year I will have to go for a ride.

Frankenmuth River Place Shops is a charming shopping center designed to resemble a traditional Bavarian village. With over 40 unique storefronts, visitors can explore the Alpine-inspired architecture and enjoy activities like old-time photos, gourmet cupcakes, and wine tastings at Modern Craft Winery. The shops offer a variety of experiences for families to enjoy while immersing themselves in Frankenmuth's European village theme.

40 shops, all connected. You walk outside and enjoy the decorations, the music, and the fairy garden. They have many specialty shops, that carry very different merchandise, don't forget to check out the bakery and the store for cat's and dogs. They have an arcade also.Restaurant are with in the path. You also can take your pet for a great stroll, take very great pictures of a waterfall and the covered bridge. The only store I would not recommend is the Frankenmuth store, high priced and really touristy.Be sure to check out the store Sticky things, this place has honey, syrup, butter, oils and all kinds of yummy tea's. You can sample all their products and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about where their merchandise is made and for health benefits they carry so much and the staff is, well I cannot say enough, they also offer to but online, a definite must stop.

Great little place to stop and shop while you're in Frankenmuth. Lots of options to pop in and look around. There's an arcade to keep the kids occupied for a while and you're steps away from some good restaurant choices on the main drag. It's a pet friendly area as well. They gave a spot near the middle to let them do their business too.

This is my second time here, there’s always something about this little nice town that keeps me from coming back to it. Maybe it reminds me of every time I’ve been to Europe. Out first time back was couple years ago and it was summer but this time around we went during fall season and it’s a beautiful experience to see the colours of the leaf blends in with the vibrant colour of the shops around the area. This place has a bunch of store for you to walk around and get indulge with different kind of experiences. It is a dog friendly mall and you’re more than welcome to walk around and take pictures around it. There’s quite a bit of parking space here and perfect place to park as well if you’re planning to visit this little town.Overall, if your in Michigan and near Detroit area, I would definitely recommend visiting this area and explore. This little Germany town won’t disappoint you and you’ll be glad that you visited this!

They have alot of cool things to look at and shop. My favorite was this place you can try hot sauce and BBQ sauces in weird flavors.Water is $2 in there so maybe bring your own. They have an arcade, book store, blacksmith experience, pet stores, candy, and fudge shops. It was definitely worth going highly recommend.

Frankenmuth River Place is a great place to spend a relaxing day with friends and family. There are plenty of food options on site or very close by. The shops are varied and interesting to browse. I loved the honey and tea shop, the samples were amazing. And definitely make a stop at the beignet shop. Delicious!

Very taste place. Samples of honey, oils, vinegar and maple syrup. Tea was only available to smell in jars. The smell and taste should resemble each other. Per the owner. We purchased a sampler box with a honey and a couple different teas. Can't wait to try the tea. One of many places to experice in this quaint little town.

This place is so charming, and feels like a mini town all on its own. It is beautifully landscaped, with photo opportunities everywhere. From 5-9 everyday, there is a free shuttle bus that runs continously from Bavarian Inn Hotel, to River Place Shops, to the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. The shopping is great and this is also where you'd catch a ride on the ferry padded boat.I live this place !

As I mentioned in the review with the Bavarian Inn, the shops are endless!! The people of the city are kind and welcoming. It is an amazing experience. The entire city has a certain charm and feel about it. Absolutely adored the theatrics!! It’s all within walking distance. They also have carriage rides. And as I have mentioned before in other reviews, the have live entertainment every evening!! I want to definitely suggest that you look into Frankenmuth Michigan as a future vacation/holiday!! You most certainly will be glad you did!!

This is a beautiful Bavarian style shopping area with various specialty shops. Most of the stores that sell candy, chocolate, hot sauce or other food products offer some free samples. You can find a place to get an ice cream cone or coffee and enjoy walking around the area that is beautifully landscaped with shrubs, flowers, and water fountains.

Tamara — Google review

It is a MUST to stop by and explore the nearby/surrounding areas and shops. It was my family’s first time really exploring this area and there’s so many wonderful bakeries, souvenir/gift stores, and truly just a fun place to walk in! Love it & the Christmas air!!!

Gail Suwarna — Google review

We went to see the ice sculptures and the snow sculptures. Very busy place, have not seen any put traffic like that since I visited the Las Vegas Strip. There must have been 4 or 5,000 people in that town checking that Festival out when we were there. We got to see the river Ice Break while we were waiting to get out of town. That was something never saw that before in my life. Be prepared to walk a long ways as to find a parking place there is very difficult you'll be driving around a little bit to find one but you will. First time I ever been there it's pretty cool.

The Michigan Heroes Museum, established in 1987, showcases the rich history of military and space heroes from Michigan. With over 900 displays and stories on rotation, visitors can learn about the brave men and women who served their country with great sacrifice. The museum is a hidden gem that is definitely worth exploring for anyone interested in history. From soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice to those who returned home to their loved ones, this museum offers emotional insights into the heroic deeds of Michigan's past.

Such an amazing place to visit with metals, uniforms, shoes, helmets, bombs, replicas of boats... there's just everything or anything and it's all about Michiganders. It is a very a beautiful place to go and take with the whole family

This was very cool! Our boys are all in WWII right now and this place honored all who served from MI in all wars and space. Mark, who was working today was very knowledgeable and he had a scavenger hunt the boys could do which made them look through and at everything multiple times trying to find their objects on their sheets. It helped them to stop and really appreciate everything while learning new cool things about history and humbling them for own fallen soldiers. I recommend this place!

Miranda M — Google review

This place is a hidden treasure! John was amazing and will spend time talking you to if you ask. He seemed to know all the stories of the service men and women in detail and is a great storyteller. He said they have about 900 displays/sorties they rotate through. It was definitely an emotional visit reading about all these amazing service people that made the ultimate sacrifice and those that were able to return to their loved ones. definitely a place you can return to over and over

Amy Stadel — Google review

An absolute Hidden Gem. Everyone who is a resident of Michigan should visit here. Antonio who was a volunteer was excited to tell me and my son about the heroes who served our country and made the experience very memorable. We were not there as long as we wanted because we had a tight schedule but this is seriously a place to read the stories about the different people with ties to Michigan that have served our great country.

I cannot say enough about this museum, which is overflowing with information about Michigan’s contributions to military and space history. Each exhibit contains the Michigan hero’s story as well as uniforms, letters, telegrams, newspapers, weapons, medals, and other artifacts. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, in particular executive director John Ryder. He spent three hours regaling us with detailed information and fascinating stories about virtually every exhibit. His incredible wealth of knowledge and engaging manner raised the experience to a whole new level. As it is impossible to take everything in on one visit, we are definitely planning on returning. A must-see destination for patriotic history-lovers. 👍👍👍👍👍

Absolutely fantastic hidden Michigan gem! This museum has an amazing collection of military history, Michigan soldiers' stories, and artifacts and memorabilia. For me it's an absolutely essential stop on a Frankenmuth visit, and well worth a trip on its own merit! The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the museum itself is well organized and well cared for. A fantastic place for researching a school project, brushing up on military history, or just spending a day learning more about the amazing things people from Michigan have accomplished.

Haven't been here for a while. Looks like they've lost some stores due to covid.Still lots of great deals though, Calvin Klein, Nike, Guess are just a few of the stores with great deals, not to mention the shoe stores!Only problem is I spent too much money. If you're canadian, definitely worth the trip even with the exchange.

Mista Jay — Google review

Pretty massive outlet, there's so much store to look. One day is not enough to visit all store. And you better drive from one place to the other. You can visit their website for the directory. There's plenty of large restrooms so don't worry if you need to pee.

Yusuf Yaacob — Google review

Took my very good friend/Ex Wife shopping there. The employees were fabulous. It was her first time in a coach store. She absolutely loved it the atmosphere the employees. The cleanliness of the store was great definitely would recommend they also have really good prices.

Robert Butsky — Google review

Took my wife there to do a little shopping. It was a fairly successful trip. She shopped a several stores. I shopped at a fairly new store that sold Barbecue sauces, rubs, and seasonings. The also sold hot sauces of all kinds from warm to hell fire and burn your face off. Just what a hot sauce aficionados would love. There is a lot of variety to choose from. You won't be disappointed.

James Edwards — Google review

From the past 2 days and today, I really had a best time shopping the stores I ever went in my life!😃

Jaylin Timmons — Google review

Sleeping Tiger Imports @ outlets, Great place to shop for unique gifts!!! Crystals, jewelry, home decor, fresh incense, dragons, adorable mushroom jewelry & decor! Clothing, and beautiful mosaic lamps !

Lisa Maul — Google review

I remember "real" outlets when it actually was "outlet" of overstocked items sold for cheap. Now it seems like merchandises are made for "outlets" and not that cheap. Still a bit cheaper than premium malls but not worth the long drive and cost of gas. Better to order online.

Brian C — Google review

Awesome experience for the family. The atmosphere is so family friendly. It was a great experience to find all your shopping needs. Offering a wide variety of outlets from outdoors, indoors, apparel, cosmetics, etc.. worth checking out if in search of more specific items and stores by specific vendors as Birch Run Outlets might have it for you. This outlet mall is home to over 100 stores which include The North Face, Adidas, Columbia, Aerie, Avon, American Eagle, and Bass Factory Outlet. This premium outlet center offers plenty of parking spaces so you can move around to different shops with ease. There are also a handful of eateries here, such as a bubble tea cafe and pizzeria. The furniture was nice quality. I didn't walk around and see what all stores were around but from what I I see they have a big variety to choose from. I would recommend visiting here with your family. It is best to give yourself two days to explore all the stores.

Saad Alsaedi — Google review

Lots of shopping store variety. Great for shoppers coming from Canada looking for great deals.

Marcus Ho — Google review

Since I was here 2 years ago. The number of stores has greatly increased. There are great deals to be had. All stores give big discounts on there merchandise. They also give veterans discounts, with proper ID. In the Alfred Dunner and DXL stores, there are chairs for spouses to wait in.

Judy May — Google review

OMG All biggest brands available here.Great deals always what you want to buy you find here for sure. Once visit to worth it 👌

jigna tripathi — Google review

While there are always the standard "outlet" shops, this mall has a number of stores that are new and not necessarily part of the average outlet shops. I do wish the outlet stores charged outlet prices though. Most stores are the same price as if you went to any other mall.

Brea Glenn (mssweet7) — Google review

Lulu is finally here! It was busy so we just walked around for a few minutes. I didn't see anything I needed right then but was really just checking it out for my daughter's. Good prices!!!

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is a charming 1800s-style lakeside village that boasts of 34 historic buildings and a fully operational train. The place is an ideal destination for families, especially during Christmas lighting and train rides. The train ride takes around 35 minutes round trip, offering breathtaking views of the light display on both sides.

A lovely place to visit for enjoying holiday spirit. The train ride was fun as we got to see several light displays along the ride, old time holiday songs playing and a very cozy coach! Masks are required on the train. The walk in the village is fun for older kids but with toddlers a little difficult… but they can enjoy the carousel, popcorn, hot cocoa and lighted pathways.

Deepa B — Google review

We loved it. We went on a day that was sponsored so there were more activities going on in addition to normal business. Everything ran smoothly & it was tons of fun. We'll definitely be returning for another train ride ❤️

Ebony Shaquita — Google review

Went for Halloween 🎃 trick and treats! I have been here several other times but like it better during the holidays. The village was all decked out with spooky decorations. The opera house had a magician 🎩 show. A maze made from stacked straw bails was in the center of the village. There's a carousel and ferris wheel 🎡 ($1.50 each to ride). 20 stops for treats ending with cider and donuts. The train ride is about 40 minutes long filled with lights and decorations. Highly recommend 💚💯💯🎃🎩🎡🚂

Kenny Greene — Google review

A wonderful place to visit, especially at Halloween or Christmas! My family visits Crossroads Village every year for the holidays. The ghosts and goodies event lets you trick or treat your way around the many buildings and it's fun to see all the decorations. My kids love the train rides. The tickets for Halloween and Christmas trains sell out fast so definitely purchase those in advance. Otherwise tickets are easy enough to buy at the gate. During Christmas the lights are brilliant to see while strolling around the village. We love the cinnamon almonds and the popcorn at Christmas. The carousel is also fun and it goes really fast so my kids love to ride it. The Ferris wheel is another great option if the weather is nice.

Theresa Giffel — Google review

This is a very fun place to visit if you enjoy Christmas themed activities and/or Christmas lights. This is not an expensive activity. You can tour the crossroads village at no charge, and the 45ish minute train ride is just over $20.00 per ticket. I loved the train ride - the cars are old fashioned and cozy, the light displays were well.done and included a few live actors, and the conductor was really nice. There is a Christmas play that is shown regularly inside the theatre house. There is a buffet style restaurant - I had already eaten but it looked nice. There were other snacks for sale elsewhere in the village - popcorn and almonds and coffee etc. Plenty of bathrooms, lots of cool authentic old buildings to check out - there's even a tractor towed trailer that towed people around the village or you can walk it. I loved the lights, really well done.

Oliver Warne — Google review

Attended “Day out with Thomas” yesterday and had an awesome time! First time visiting Crossroads Village and was impressed with all the different sites to see, along with fun rides for the kids. Our 2 year old loved the train ride with Thomas. We were very impressed with all the Thomas activities set up throughout the village for kids to do. A great experience and we will likely come back each year for this event!Would recommend as a fun day event for others to experience!

Kristin Baragwanath — Google review

Enjoyed an afternoon here with my 2-year-old! The train ride was relaxing and fun, along with having a walk around the grounds. Beyond excellent customer service all around, especially from Tanner (train staff) and Mr. Tim who were so personable and kind. I'd recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks as options are extremely limited at the café (hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, chips). The broom-making young lady was exceptionally talented and so knowledgeable. We look forward to going again for the (very fast!!!) merry-go-round.

Elisa Johnston — Google review

A favorite family destination for generations. The people are very friendly, the train ride is pleasant, and the carousel and Ferris wheel are surprisingly fast and fun.

Frank — Google review

We went for the day out with thomas. We had a lot of fun. They also had a color event going on. We had fun searching, but was difficult to use phone to keep search list and take photos. (Wish the scavenger hunt had a hard copy) everyone was so friendly. And so much could do.

Aprille O — Google review

This was my first time here. I always did want to go as a kid and just never got the chance. I had so much fun :) the food, the sights, sounds, the train was amazing!! I'd do it all again every year, multiple times a year for many years to come!!!

Lacie Stogdill — Google review

Love this place. We have gone here almost every year since the kids were little. The train ride is super fun and telhr village trick or treating is great. We love the somewhat old sketchy rides. The carousel is the fastest I have ever seen and the Ferris wheel is nuts. Definitely worth the drive and visit.

Matt Maltarich — Google review

My husband and I went here for Halloween and now Christmas as well. This place is really amazing. I don't think I appreciated it enough when I was younger. On Halloween, they encourage everyone to trick or treat, even adults, which I thought was so cool. Halloween is my absolute favorite. The lights and displays on both Halloween and Christmas were phenomenal. It is worth every penny and I very much enjoyed myself.

Sara Rabidoux — Google review

Good place to take kids for Xmas lighting & train ride. Train ride is around 35 mins to & fro where you can see lights display on both sides. Village itself is small place to find how people lived 100 years ago with open houses, school, blacksmith shop etc. A carousel is fun for everyone. Overall it’s fun place to hang around for 3-4 hours. It’s in the middle of nowhere as everything is brought here from somewhere else.

Vash B — Google review

I would give this place 5 stars 100% because it really was a great experience. My only issue during my whole visit was that one of the workers during the magic show was dressed up as a native American which heavily offended me and my family. Our culture is NOT a costume. Besides this mishap here are some of the highlight moments we experienced today. Trick or treating was a blast. All the workers passing out the candy were enthusiastic and patient. The train ride was an absolute joy. We sat in the back and the tour guid was so sweet and kind and the view was spectacular. The rides were really cool. The fact that buying the toys out front meant contributing to keeping the rides up made us buy extra and in general the prices were really fair. And the entire town was very clean. This is something I would recommend for any family or couple or anyone in general.

Cassidy Lowery — Google review

This was an amazing experience. We did the train ride and then had dinner. The train is train is pulled by a steam engine and there were Christmas displays on both sides of the track. The meal we had was very good and the village takes you back in time and was beautifully decorated. Lots of fun things for children. We would definitely go there again. Totally loved it.

Shelly Payne — Google review

We went during the Day Out With Thomas event. We had a great time with the scavenger hunt, Thomas gift shop and many Thomas themed activities.

Amy Stevens — Google review

It's amazing this place is still operating and maintained as well as it is! The rides are $1.50 to ride. The Ferris wheel is from 1910 and in spite of its tired squeaks, at 10mph, it feels surprisingly fast and fun. The carousel is also from 1910, operational and beautiful. There are no more animals since the pandemic, but plenty of restrooms, a candy store where for $2.00 kids can stuff a small brown bag to the brim. Staff said one boy managed to stuff over 60 pieces strategically for his $2.00 candy bag! Impressive. You can get a burger, hot dog and ice cream or walk through some of the historic shops and get a little history from theme dressed staff. The train ride is 40min., a separate fee I can't recall, but a family must. Crossroads Village and Huckleberry Railroad are open all summer, for Halloween and Christmas.

Christy Evans-Soullier — Google review

I've been coming here since I was a kid in the 70s - since my grandfather grew up nearby. I brought my kids here for the Christmas train when they were small and now it's even better as an adult with no kids in tow. Speaking of kids, if you're hoping for a more quiet evening try to avoid Friday or Satruday. We also enjoy the sweet little buffet for dinner! Great fun and so educational.

The look and feel of the new farmers market is awesome. Can’t say enough about how much Flint needs more things like this. Being able to get fresh produce and connect with local vendors was super dope. Can’t wait to visit again.

Love this venue. Soo many wonderful shops all indoors.

Katharine Howard — Google review

I wish I could give this market more than five stars! Outstanding produce selection, inside and outside. The food is always beautiful and fresh. Lunch options are great as well, for both vegetarians and meat eaters! Such a fun place to visit, and within walking distance to downtown. Easy access to free parking. Fun bar on the roof.

Allie Browe — Google review

Always fresh produce to find here. Love being able to buy local. Everyone seems friendly and happy to help if needed. Many vendors to visit - from fresh produce, baked goods, fresh meats, soaps, crystals, candles, and candies, to many small eateries, to include Steady Eddy's Cafe.

Tisha Briggs — Google review

Let's go flintown! The farmer's market has got it going on. If your looking for a quick bite or a place to wander and take in the goodies it's here. excellent food with a wide variety that will please everyone. Wine and craft beers. Meats, cheeses, fresh farm products and some of the salad you can get(I don't like salad) and Crust bakery has a booth but hurry the good stuff sells fast. It's a great meeting place to explore what flint has to offer there is usually plenty of parking. The farmer's market is safe and has security and is well lit and maintained. Handicap parking in the front and lots of space for renting to sell goods or browse other offerings. It's one of the best things flints got going. You will not be disappointed.

Randy Kruse — Google review

I was up in Burton visiting family and friends, and my cousin said we should check out the Flint farmers market. I have to admit I had pretty low expectations of this place, but wow, I was impressed when we went there. This place is fantastic, with all the food options to choose from the fruit and vegetables. Not to mention I got a nice retro Flint Michigan T-shirt so I can represent in metro Detroit. This place is fantastic.

Chad Chilton — Google review

I love going to the Flint Farmers' Market!!! I enjoy getting fresh veggies, cheeses, baked goods, and trying different eating spots located within the market. It's always a great time!! Definitely recommend visiting!!

Angela Stallworth — Google review

I had my very first paint party on the rooftop! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. And Helen is a gem to the farmers market! She made everybody feel so welcomed. I would definitely rent that space again.

Last Thursday was my first visit to the Flint Farmers' Market. I loved it. All the different vendors in one location. I will return.

Rebecca's Blogs, Photos, & More — Google review

This farmers market was a definite highlight of our visit to Flint. There was a large variety of vendors and food, and produce that I have never seen before. The sandwich made of Arepas was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back there if I’m in the area. The only downside of it is that it is open so few days a week!

Totally found this by mistake. I went on a super cold day. Which ended up being perfect. I was pretty much the only person in every store. The only store I was unimpressed with was Nike, cashier had an attitude and they have a security guy at the door that wears sunglasses in the store? I mean I don't get why you need security? Especially one that thinks he is Joe cool 😎

Christy Hill — Google review

While this center does have many options, there are quite a lot of empty lots. I feel like this place has potential, but it just needs to have better outlet shops. On a positive note, I will say that the buildings and parking lot is kept in great condition and the atmosphere here is very welcoming. It’s not the worst shopping center ever, it just needs a little more.

Joey Saez — Google review

Who doesn't love spending the day at an outlet mall? It was clean and safe. We enjoyed the many stores at one location. Plenty of parking on the day we went.

Darrel Ashby — Google review

Went to Kay Jewelers to have a watch band adjusted. The employees were so kind and friendly. I highly recommend this jewelry store.

Tina J. — Google review

Good access to the Freeway 96. Many popular bland shops. Recently Adidas outlet store is back outlet mall again. It is nice place to shop and find a good deal here, but not many eating places inside the mall. Wish this mall has a food court even smaller size.

Yoshi Kuronuma — Google review

We shop here a few times a year. You must know what you're looking for and know your price to find a deal. Make sure to stop at the Tanger Service Center first to get a coupon book - your stores may honor them. The Service Center has nice restrooms and vending machines. Restaurants are off site.Good luck - have fun!

John Domutz — Google review

This place is so big with a lot of shopping outlets and a lot of offers with cosmetics, clothes, bags and women's wear. There are a lot of options and specifically a croissant sandwich place which is too good. The middle of nowhere. I wish there were more options inside the outlets but the one that is present is a quality place.

Nandini Penumarthy — Google review

Great value and sales depend on the store. Just be cautious and alway check what time the mall closes. Ever store runs on that time and not the store time listed online. For example; Stetches store online says they are open till 9pm but they are not. They are open till 7pm with the mall itself.

Megan Harvey — Google review

Been going here for over 18 years now. I worked at multiple stores a long time ago there's a lot of great stores here. Especially bath n body works. Hot topic the kitchen store pac sun, there's a coach discount store here. Over 5o stores here. They also have sketcher's, Nike, famous footwear, I don't like shopping with large crowds and luckily I'm only 5 minutes drive from here so I go at 10 am when they open. Definitely check it out they also have coupon books gift cards and great deals

Nice outlet mall in Howell. Wide variety of stores, some affordable and some higher end. The place has a huge layout and plenty of parking available. The stores were modern and clean. A pleasant shopping experience was had.

LOVE this place! My money goes sooo much further here than at the mall. Great outing day with my daughter to scoop up some deals on brands she loves!

Danielle Leithauser — Google review

My husband and I visited Tanger last weekend and both walked away with some pretty great deals!! He loved the discounts in the Coach store so much that he brought me two purses!! And the Bath and Body Works was having their annual sale- so I spent about $85, and could barely carry the bag around.. I try to get here about once or twice a year- and it's always a SCORE!!

Movie theater

Fun & Games

Digital & 3D screens for the latest releases along with Tuesday deals on tickets & snacks.

We have been here multiple time lately and the actual theater is always nice the place is clean. The people who work there always seem like we are bugging them if we ask for an item that they are sold out of or if there is too many people in line. I do recommend to go to this theater the chairs are comfortable and if ever there is a problem I can say that will make sure they do their best to make it right

Melissa McCurdy — Google review

Went to see a 9:45 pm showing of Black Adam on a Friday night. The theater was surprisingly empty! Only 6 of us were there. The young lady working at the ticket and concessions counter got us taken care of quickly and was super friendly! Food and drinks are a little pricey. Candy is almost $5 and drinks are around that price as well but it's free refills for those. There are so many soda flavors to choose from, Sprite had 6 flavors alone! The bathrooms were clean, butter and drink stations were clean and the cinema we were in was spotless!

Rachael Hudson — Google review

Fairly decent facility however their recent addition to beer and wine leaves much to be desired because of the fact there is no reward for spending $20 a drink. The particular theater where Blue beetle was playing was atrociously filthy..empty buckets and trash. All patrons had to exit because the staff after having brought to her attention the disarray of the theater called for attendant associates to clean it up which caused adverse and stress on patrons for what should of been done beforehand of seating the attendees

Wpa Christian — Google review

We just got done with a Wednesday night 5:35 showing of the movie “talk to me”. When we walked into the theatre, the wrong movie was playing. We went to ask about it and waited for them to fix it. It got fixed and then we sat through a half hour of ads and repeated commercials. Right when the movie starts to come on, the lights turn on. We leave the theatre for a second time to let someone know and ask for help. We start watching the movie and right when the climax of the movie seems to be happening, it just shuts off. We leave the theatre for a third time to ask for help and get it fixed. After waiting for about 5 min for it to come back on, we both decided we were over it because of how annoying our experience had already been and decided to leave. Worst experience I have ever had at a theatre. I feel like I wasted my money because we were both too frustrated to wait around and see if the movie would ever get back up and running again.

Lacey Culvey — Google review

The theater light flickered on and off the entire movie and when I asked an usher if there was any way to turn it off they shrugged their shoulders and said “Oh yeah, that’s been like that for a while.” and walked away. Asked for a refund in October 2023 and January 2024 still waiting on it. I called the manager multiple times since being approved for a refund. Never happened. I won’t be visiting this theater again. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but bad customer service in an industry that is already failing is a terrible way to keep a company afloat.

Art Smith — Google review

Great movie theater! Extremely clean amazing staff! They have chairs that recline and heat up it's a perfect family getaway! Only thing they need to work on is using gift cards on their app. Can't use them to reserve the special seats! Otherwise perfect night!!

RosA Productions — Google review

We were here recently to see the Mario movie and the workers were absolutely amazing. Very clean, they worked fast to make sure everything was picked up and clean before and after movie. Friendly staff. Foods a bit expensive but that’s normal at theaters. Had a great time and will be back.

Krystal Weber — Google review

I love this theater. It's clean, the staff is kind and helpful, seats are comfortable and popcorn is always fresh tasting.Their prices could be a bit cheaper though.I think popcorn and one pop shouldn't be $20 on top of the $15 per ticket. Just me by myself today with one VIP seat ticket ($14), a large drink($9), and some pretzel bites($9), came to $32.So expect to spend $100 and up per time, depending on how many people come with you.

Krystal Hascall — Google review

Staff to young, kids running from theater to another. No Adults to handle situation. Nice theater tho. One would think where alcohol is served there would be more Adults

James Carrington — Google review

Preordered tickets to see the first showing of a movie on Black Friday with my kids. I understand it’s busy but it’s this is so poorly managed mixing all the shoppers with the people who actually want to see a movie and are on a schedule. Doors opened at 9 and movie started at 915. Currently 930 and still have at least 6 people ahead of us before we get to the register with people getting at least a dozen gift cards all for a promo of a bucket of popcorn.$80 worth of movie ticket and not including a the popcorn and drinks. Truly unacceptable. If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Thanks NCG for now having 4 upset kids that have to miss the start of their movie.

Paul Burdette — Google review

Nice theater. Comfortable seats. I like the retro shows .

Linda S — Google review

I go during the day. I love the reclining, heated seats. (They're an upcharge) Staff is friendly enough. The theater is clean. Of course concessions are ridiculously priced because it's the movies. I do miss the flavors for the popcorn. But I would drive past another theater to come here.

Amber Worden — Google review

Usually places in Grand Blanc feel cheap and fake, but this place is actually very nice. It’s clean, well built, conveniently located and there are a ton of auditoriums, with a massive IMAX theater in the back that makes you feel special just for being there. Only thing is trying to call them from google maps is impossible because it’s just an automated menu. Other than that, a great place to see movies.

Noah Landon — Google review

We met my boyfriend's daughter to watch Little Mermaid. He wasn't familiar with the theater, and he accidentally purchased tickets up front. The guy at the counter didn't blink an eye when I asked if we could switch seats!! Thank you so much ❤️

Julie Josselyn — Google review

We go frequently and like the atmosphere. Snacks are pricey but we always get the popcorn bucket on good Friday so saves us thru out the year on popcorn. Also picked up several gift cards at a great discount so that also helps.

Cathy co*ckerill — Google review

This place has become ridiculous. Employees can't even speak clearly so you can understand them. Place was dirty. Hot and muggy with no A/C. The seats we selected online were not the same as what was labeled in the theater. $65 for 2 kids 1 adult 2 small popcorn and 3 small drinks. Emagine theater s are way better!

Joshua Fenner — Google review

I enjoyed the clean friendly atmosphere an I was able to have a glass of wine while the kids had free refills an popcorn 🍿 🙌❤️

Sherri King — Google review

Service might as well have been in reverse, went to see the new minus one in Imax, they played 30 minutes of Beyonce instead, got my refund and left....won't be back, the heated seats that recline, those are in the lobby outside of the imax you're about to go see but not in the theatre itself. False advertising all around and run by clowns.

Jason Perry — Google review

My boyfriend, his brother, and I all went to see Wonka last night in IMAX. The manager who helped us at the counter was amazing. David W the manager was more than accommodating to our needs. He offered to escort us to our seats and helped us carry our food. He was so friendly and helpful. A smile never left his face. I have been going to Trillium since I was a little girl. It is my absolute favorite theater. David W worked his butt off and deserves a raise. Thank you Trillium staff for being so amazing. I will continue to return for more movies. We love you 💕 Keep on doing what you are doing. Highly recommend this theater to everyone. David W went above and beyond to make our visit absolutely perfect and memorable. Thank you so much for all your help David 💕

Lauren Hankerd — Google review

The only reason I spend $40 on a movie date is for the popcorn. I was given an $8 bucket full of tiny crumbs and kernels with a layer of popcorn on top. I’ve never been to a theater so hard up for profit that they resort to serving crumbs!

Fun & Games

Family-run farm with pick-your-own apples, hay wagon rides & a huge corn maze, plus a winery.

The donuts inside are we're good. They had a really nice play place for the kids to play. For some of the rides you need to purchase tickets. They had some farm animals. There was a train ride that took you around the orchard. They do take credit cards. The cider and donut line moved extremely fast!

Adam R — Google review

The ciders and wines are excellent and high quality. The ciders are smooth with a wide variety of flavors. The wines are very tasty especially the Honey White. The staff are friendly and helpful. A gift shop is also on property where they offer treats and specialty gifts. Highly recommend visiting and tasting a half wine flight or a full flight in the tasting room. ❤️

Becky Lipka — Google review

Spicers does things right. Donuts and Cider are delicious. All kinds of activities and different food options on the weekends. Not very busy during the week and a lot of things are not open. So many different options of snacks and more inside the barn. You can ride on the hey ride and pick your own pumpkin out at the patch. Overall a great experience. Lots of parking and not a lot of waiting to purchase anything. Would definitely be back when I'm looking for a good Donut and Cider spot.

J W — Google review

Absolutely amazing! Best cider mill I've ever been to. The doughnuts were so fresh, soft, and yet crisp. The cider was deliciously sweet. And, they have so many attractions to keep the kids entertained! We hope to come back and test a flight at the winery next time.

Searra Liggett — Google review

First time visiting this place with the 20mo old. She loved the play area, the animals, and the doughnuts. We recommend going here if you have some little ones. Definitely try picking your own fruits from the orchards but buy some sweets and local gifts from the country store.

Erwin — Google review

This place was so nice! Donuts are amazing! Corn maze so fun and challenging. Staff was very friendly!

Kelli Ferrier — Google review

A family run farm with a market and winery that is open year round. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not too crowded. You pay 3.00 a person to pick. They take you by wagon to the orchards. When you are done picking, they weigh your container and you pay for your berries. We picked a pint of raspberries and a container of blueberries. They also have a sunflower field that you cut your own sunflowers..$10 for 5.Next up will be peaches in August. Apple picking is the most popular but they do sell fresh donuts, cider and fudge year round in the market. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are super friendly. After picking we sat in the outdoor area by the tasting room to sample some of their wines and ciders. They also have a kitchen serving a few food items. The Coney Dog was amazing! For a fun day out in the country, Spicers is the place to go.

John Moore — Google review

We came to pick apples and enjoyed the day! You pay in advance for your apple bags and then wait for the tractor wagon to pick you up and take you to the orchard. The wait wasn't long. The shoppe had a lot of things inside, including the fresh fruit, but also jams and jellies, popcorn, ice cream, donuts, cider and more.there is a play area outside that I did not see anyone at, I wonder if it is only open on the weekends. We did not pay for an admission fee. My family also enjoyed the donuts. There is also an animal area.

Kathryn Friedlund — Google review

Spicers was such a fun day out! They had so many animals, a great playground area, wonderful store with some of the best donuts and surprisingly amazing cookies! The hay ride was so fun and the driver did a great job of describing the apple 🍎 orchard lay out. They have different kinds of apples and had multiple stops for getting off to pick off different fields. The staff was all so kind and helpful with everything. I appreciated all the hand washing stations and sanitizer bottles placed through out the farm. They have more going on during the weekends: they add a train ride and have some mini theme park rides, etc. but weekdays are nice and quiet and usually have more older couples coming out for some cider, donuts and the winery.

S Nagi — Google review

Stopped in while driving by today, and so glad we did!!! The cider was amazing, and that Ice Wine is delicious!!! Steve answered our many questions in the tasting room.... that guy should get a raise! The little bakery and shop is filled with goodies. I can't wait to go back.

Jennifer Turner — Google review

We sat on the winery deck and enjoyed delicious cherry wine before picking some cherries of our own and having a picnic. Such a fun experience!

Jacque Spurlock — Google review

We went to the train ride and cabin and it was awesome. Going into the cabin to see Santa one on one made things a lot easier for our little, to give him alittle time to adjust and not get overwhelmed, and the train ride was nice for him to be able enjoy the ride and look around. I definitely recommend going and taking bc the kids. After everything, you get hot chocolate or cider and a donut.

Ashley Farrer — Google review

Popular Fall favorite. This place can be very busy on weekends. Plenty to do to keep the kids entertained and full of sugar. Must try the cider and cider apple donuts. There are wagon hay rides that can take you to pick apples and several kid carnival style games. If it is a great weather Fall weekend be prepared to search for parking and then walking to get to the Orchard. They also have a winery that does serve some appetizers and sandwiches on certain days, check before you go.

Nature & Parks

Hudson Mills Metropark is a vast outdoor recreational area with various activities such as hiking and biking trails, golf courses, disc golf courses, picnic areas, sports grounds for games like baseball and soccer. Additionally, visitors can enjoy boating and fishing in the Huron River. The park features a paved track that runs through its entirety allowing for rollerblading or running. It also has well-known Disc Golf Courses which are considered some of the best in the country.

Its good place to enjoy with family and friends. Before going here you better take some playing stuff like ball, bat, frisbee or any other stuff.

sudhakar jinka — Google review

Lovely area. I wish it had more trails. Overall, very peaceful and beautiful.

Maria Bermudez — Google review

The park itself is excellent with a nice paved trail and grassy side areas for you & your dog. However, this place suffers from excessive bugs. Notably, the Ticks. This place is totally inhabited and swamped with Ticks and fleas. Your dog will pick up Ticks if he/she goes into any grassy area, and especially the longer grass. So unfortunate that so many ticks and fleas make this place great to see from inside the car, but fails to be a place where I would choose to walk my dog or go for a run. This place could a gem with major cleanup. People you run into are great though!

Nishanth Alluri — Google review

The photos don't do justice to the metropark. Nestled 25 mins away from Ann Arbor, is this beautiful park that is simply splendid for its amazing trail, fishing, cycling and kids play area. Do the paved trail to experience the park in its beauty. And if you're in a mood for some picnic, this is a superb spot for some good food, good company with a great view!

Arpita Shah — Google review

Wonderful golf course. It's long and a little difficult now since I'm a senior. Previously it wasn't quite so long. Haha

James Drewry (Jim) — Google review

The two Disc Golf courses are some of the best in the country. And are absolutely amazing to play on. It has a paved course all the way around the park for running biking and rollerblading. I also believe there is rental for kayaks on the Huron River. The fireworks rule. I could just keep going and going.

Tommy Darrow — Google review

Really enjoyed the disc golf course here, especially the tree faces around many of the holes 😊

Leanne Ma — Google review

Large, wonderful park with plenty of parking. You may see deer, cranes, or other wildlife. There's a lot of pavilions that are rentable, have picnic tables, and are spread out quite far. Some of these are in very beautiful settings, like along the Huron River. Camping spots are available, in a more remote area of the park. There's walking, biking, skiing paths, even a popular disc golf course. Basketball courts and baseball soccer fields are available. Pickleball courts will probably be there soon . Children's play park is nice. The Huron River runs through this park so places to put canoes or kayaks in the river are there, but limited, so call or check online. A rental facility is at the main office. The last I knew they rented cross country skis, disc golf items, and bikes. There are lots of shaded spots if you don't want to spend all your time in the sun.

Jeannine C — Google review

Nice place to visit. Flat with nice asphalt roads :-)We went for a sugarbush trail and pancake breakfast. The pancakes were delishes.

Tanya Kravchuk — Google review

As close to a perfect park as you can get. Our last trip out we played disc golf for a couple hours, went to river and had lunch, then kayaked for a couple hours. There are lots of picnic tables, grills, and tons of benches to make lunch great. If you drop in kayak above rapids and walk under the bridge the water is smooth like ice and beautiful. We went upstream to the canoe campsite, really nice. The rapids are fun and easier to navigate than Delhi.

Campground

Great place for camping 🏕 stayed for a night. All the kiddos are out at this time. The weather was just right I feel. I'm a beginner camper but for one of my first experiences on my own this was a beautiful site to choose. It did get a little noisy with the capacity for Friday day with all the kiddos, but it wasn't bad. There is a beach area you can drive or walk to. The water was a little cold with the weather being high 85 or so, but you get used to it. It was nice to lay out on the beach, read and get some vitamin D.The site has a campstore with various items as well as firewood that was handy. Also, the trail was fun with a lot of beautiful scenery however a lot of bugs at this time, so definitely come prepared with bug spray.

Melissa Stender — Google review

We camped Monday thru Thursday in the north campground. Campground was calm and relatively quiet. Sites vary greatly in size and slope so do your research before reserving. Nice beach to swim, good lake to kayak, plenty of places to bike and hike too. There's a convenient campground store on site with decent prices (No tobacco or alcohol for sale).

Doktor Detroit — Google review

Childhood nostalgia unlocked! What a fantastic hiking trail. Highly recommend to take the entire family for this serene hike. Beautiful park even in the winter! Go explore ✨️dog friendly too 🐾

Lynda Lindsay — Google review

We had a great time! The campground was nice and the workers at the camp store were very friendly and helpful. We rented kayaks and we thought it was reasonably priced.

Teresa Turner — Google review

This was our first-time reserving a campsite in this place(June the 17th, 2022) . I recorded a YouTube video about the area, and it's on my YT channel. You can see it because we took a tour of everything in it.1. We loved the area, but the only downside was its size. Our neighbor had an RV and two SUV cars, and there was not enough space on his site, so he asked us to give him some space. My kids used to play at other campgrounds, but this place does not have enough space to play.2. We booked site 96, which was full shade and close to the bathroom, and the lake was in the back. Trees are blocking the view, but you can walk on the path to see the lake. The ground wasn't leveled and not paved, no grass.3. The bathroom and shower room are not bad, but they have heat and hot water in both.4. The campground store was amazing; a small store but had everything for emergencies, a little pricey but not bad for emergencies. The only campground that has a store inside it in southern MI.5. There is a small lake and fishing area; make sure you come early to enjoy the place.6. The site should have a fire pot, electricity, and a picnic table. When we arrived, our site didn't have a picnic table, so we took one from another site that doesn't have people reserved.7. Two cars are allowed in each composite. My suggestion is to resize the sites and can extend each one and a half site into one site.

Metamora-Hadley is one of our favorite campgrounds in SE Michigan. Ive been camping here since I was kid and now I have gotten to bring my kids here. The park boasts beautiful, wooded campsites clean bathrooms, and plenty of recreational activities, including hiking trails, biking, swimming, boat rentals, fishing and more! Also, when it rains, the drainage is very good so the campsites dry up quick. Kid and dog friendly, but also a good adult getaway. Definitely recommend for a beautiful respite outdoors!

Jennifer W — Google review

A great place to go a nature hike! The water level is so low you could walk out to the island.

Sherri — Google review

I love the beach, campground, and boat rentals here. Boat rentals are $15/hr. I have a concern that the beach concession stand had hours that varied greatly from what was posted during our stay. The playgrounds consist of a single swing set each and could use an update. There's a new park naturalist, I can't wait to go camping again and attend some of his programs.

S.L. Gasko — Google review

Was absolutely beautiful. Less than 30 minutes from my house, but I felt like I was in northern Michigan.

David Bond — Google review

I used to visit here all the time when my kids were younger. This was a revisit with my eldest daughter and grandson. All in all a good visit despite electrical problems at the park. A branch had taken out wires which knocked out the power to the bathhouse, so no showers for us!

Amy Kenobi — Google review

A beautiful park that has it all! We were there from Saturday to Monday in June and it was super crowded on Saturday. Cleared out Sunday, and was much better and quiet. The bathrooms and showers were good. Hiking and the beach were great for a camping trip with small kids ages 5-9 years. The sites are small and there are many RVs here with 2-3 cars at each site making it a bit crowded when filled. I would definitely go back but during the week.

Megan McConnell — Google review

Visited for the day and had a great time. Campground is huge and offers tons of ammenities. Campsites were spacious, had multiple bathroom options, and a small store for any basics you forget. A large group has space for several activities throughout the park. Beach was nice, but the sand was basically clay, so an umbrella was difficult to stake in. Good wading area for the littles and kayaks available to rent.

Beth — Google review

Wow. Hit this park with peak colors. Loved it. Good hiking. Swimming and boat rental when in season. An easy drive into town. Will go again.

Nature & Parks

Massive green space offers 2 beaches, a golf course & nature center with exhibits & guided hikes.

Ample, well kept park with plenty of small lakes, pavilions and open piquenique/barbecue areas, beach, farm center, and a number of long Nature trails with plenty of wild life particularly birds, including turkeys, white and blue egrets, woodpeckers, sandhill cranes, swans, cardinals, bluejays to name a few. A nice park for quiet relaxation year round.

Margarida Bernardo — Google review

This is a gem of a park with tons of wild life and great places to walk your dog and hang out and BBQ. I would say, though, that once it gets closer to sunset, please make sure to wear bug spray and you are near water. Sunsets themselves are gorgeous! I highly recommend checking this park out. Excellent nature retreat in Metro Detroit. Also, you need a Metro Parks pass to get in or pay the daily admission fee. I recommend getting the pass!!

Nishanth Alluri — Google review

The red trail was so awesome! There is so much wildlife to see. Many birds ate birdseed right from my hand, which was an awesome experience. The restroom was nice too. It's a building, not a Porta potty.I highly recommend this place. And, in some spots, the mosquitoes & flies were a bit annoying, but other than that, they weren't that bad.

Cathy M. — Google review

Love this park! Tons of stuff from disc golf to horse riding and amazing bike paths abound. Beaches are packed in the summer, but you can find some hidden spots if you look. Fishing for anglers, paddle boats for the couples, nature center for activities and learning. One of the biggest disc golf events of the year is held at the toboggan hills. Great place to see eagles, cranes, deer, turtles, etc. $10/day and I think $55 for the year. Well worth it. Gotta check out Holdens on Milford rd for amazing food, beer pop and water, disc golf discs, fishing gear, and snacks galore.

Nick Oliver — Google review

This is my number one favorite Metropark.During summer there are lots of fun activities for kids and adults. You can also visit the farm area. There are many spots for picnic, some by the water and some not.The beach is also really nice in summer time and it gets crowded during weekends.Fall is a whole different story here, you would see many many different colors. If you’re planning to take good fall pictures I do recommend to go here.

It is very beautiful park to see fall color. The park is very well maintained. The sign is marked clearly. I like the most is feeding birds. Definitely a five stars.

Kensington Metropark is a beautiful park located in Milford, Michigan. It is home to a variety of activities and amenities, making it a great place to spend a day with family and friends. We enjoyed the nature trails so many birds, chipmunks, squirrels and rabbits. Some birds came very close to us and we enjoyed seeing them so close up. The boardwalk near the nature center is a good place to spot fish and we saw a huge prehistoric looking turtle. This was a nice place to visit.

Love the trails to bike and hike. Don't forget your helmet. Lakes and scenery are amazing, as are the leaves right now in October.Fun on the lake and BBQ in the warm months. And the animal farm is awesome for kids and adults.

I enjoy visiting Kensington Metropark as much as possible no matter the season. Feeding the many wild birds from the palm of my hand is the highlight of my visit. Many different birds may be encountered, as well as deer, turtles, and chipmunks. The Farm is always a joy to visit and pet the goats. If you get a chance right now, you may go down the sledding hills, cross country skiing and hike the paths. A place I recommend visiting anytime of the year.

Becky Lipka — Google review

Great park. Some reviews knock on the fireworks event, but when I went a few years ago it went fine. The disc golf courses are nice and challenging, and do require an extra fee most of the time. Good for hiking and biking. Nice for fall colors as well.

Steven Schipper — Google review

Great place for taking wildlife photos! Some of the bird species you’ll see are sandhill cranes, geese, red-winged blackbirds, wild turkey, herons, and swans. Check with your local library regarding free daily passes. This park has something for everyone: a farm, beaches, kayaking, bird watching, places to bbq, bike trails, and more!

Kensington Metropark is an absolute gem for nature lovers! The park's vast 4,481 acres offer a wide range of recreational activities and breathtaking scenery. Whether you're into hiking, biking, picnicking, swimming, or fishing, there's something for everyone here. The well-maintained trails and serene lakes create the perfect setting for a relaxing day outdoors.I was particularly impressed with the variety of wildlife and birdwatching opportunities the park has to offer. It's a paradise for bird enthusiasts, and I spotted numerous species during my visit. The Nature Center is also worth a visit, providing informative exhibits and educational programs. If you're bringing the family, the Splash 'n' Blast water park is a fantastic spot for kids to cool off during hot summer days. Additionally, the farm center is a hit with children, allowing them to interact with farm animals and learn about agriculture. The only minor drawback I encountered was the occasional crowds, especially on weekends and holidays, but it's understandable given the park's popularity. Overall, Kensington Metropark is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a day of outdoor adventure and natural beauty.

I have been going to Kensington Park since high school. Now I take the grandchildren. The Park is always evolving and improving for the enjoyment of it's patrons. There is a beautiful, peaceful lake for boating, fishing and swimming, with very nice beaches. They have a children's splash park at one of the beaches and an amazing play scape with a padded ground below it at another. Lots of pavilions and picnic areas/tables throughout the park. Plenty of trails for hiking, jogging and biking. My favorites are the petting farm and nature center. Kensington is a great place to unwind, relax and connect yourself to nature.

Heather Lee-Deibler — Google review

Lots to do! I enjoy the nature walking trails, the hilly 8 mile bicycle loop, renting kayaks, and going to the beach.I highly recommend doing the ferry boat tour of the lake, located next to the kayak rental. You will likely see bald eagles on this tour - I did. I also like the nature center.A great place for a beach day or a picnic.$10 entry. Lots of parking and restrooms in the park.

Oliver Warne — Google review

Beautiful metropark to run, walk, bike, fish, kayak and more. An 8.5 mile paved path with add-on trails circles Kent Lake along with multiple fishing docks at the west boat launch parking area. Deer, sand cranes, turkeys, ospreys and eagles can also be spotted here. Great place to get outdoors all year long.

Amphitheater featuring a 15,000-seat pavilion with lawn seating, expansive beer garden & BBQ eatery.

Pine Knob is an incredible concert venue. The layout is great with many bars and restaurants scattered around the main hilltop. It’s definitely worth getting there early to find a good parking spot and have a meal and drinks before the show starts. There are no bad seats here, and the production and music quality is always top notch. Staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful.Leaving can be a bit tough as the parking lot is prone to traffic jams. Recommend parking near the exit and walking a bit extra to get into the venue.

Josh Lefurge-Mcleod — Google review

Great place to ski for beginners. They have a decent cafe for food and beer. The coaches were pretty good and patient as we took a few skiing lessons as well.

George Viju — Google review

Great Venue to see the Dave Matthews Band! The traffic flow and parking flow control are the only headaches. Some concert goers are a bit pushy and not so friendly, especially after when they are wanting to be first to leave. Patience people. We are all leaving after a great show, so don't ruin the vibe.

Angela Hoops-Cossey — Google review

Great service at the Ivy lounge and overall. The venue is beautiful and definitely a different kind of concert experience. It has the feel of a festival with all the different stands, food and drink options. It's like it's own little town. Would highly recommend. Plan on a long wait in the parking lot after shows though that was probably the most frustrating part of the event. They only have flaggers at the main outlets.

Heather L — Google review

Magic ✨ of Lights at Pine Knob was a nice family outing. The light displays were impressive. They have an area where you can park and walk an area with lights. They have some food trucks on site that serve hot drinks and snacks.

Matthew Parker — Google review

Great venue! Been going to concerts here for 25 yrs. Nice additions over the years and now have many food and vendor options. Lawn seats still way worth it. Bathrooms are always clean. Pricy for food/drink but what place isn't now adays. Read website for updated bag/purse/chair rule. 2021 they have really limited what you can bring in. Traffic at end is always slow moving but give them a few minutes and it will eventually go quick, 20 to 40 minutes on average, so just have a good playlist cued up!

Kelly Hyer — Google review

What a concert! What a venue! Finally got to see the maestro himself, Brian Wilson, and the band that made horns a part of rock-n-roll - Chicago! The venue is large but retains a familiar vibe that is welcoming to all. There are lots of memories of great concerts in this clean and comfortable place that boasts lots of greenery, ample parking, and thoughtful amenities. And you’ve gotta love the return to the original name (not that I ever stopped calling it Pine Knob)! Turn it up!

Joseph Michael Pellerito Jr. — Google review

Went to watch Dave Matthews Band. The performance was amazing, but the venue seriously overbooked with the amount of tickets they sold. There were hundreds of people that had nowhere to sit/stand so we had to wait on the sidewalks surrounding the band shell (the view was blocked by huge trees) and only listen to the concert instead of actually getting the full experience you'd expect from a concert, which was very unfortunate. Vendors were great, only issue was the venue itself.I also noticed that most of the venue was not wheelchair accessible. There were many steps throughout the venue (I didn't see any ramps) and even hills you had to climb to get to certain areas with no hand rails. We literally saw a woman slip and fall right in front us trying to get to the Hilltop deck to see the concert. If the venue was able to successfully accommodate that many people, it would've been a completely different outcome.

Rachel Beach — Google review

A gorgeous venue! We were in the lawn seats, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. The people there were welcoming and kind, everyone was just having a great time together! The drinks were pricey, but that's to be expected. We had a great time and I can't wait to go back!

Angela Wind — Google review

It's Pine Knob and you enter on Bob Seger Way! What else do you need? We saw Foreigner there, but the concert venue has everything. It's an outdoor venue with covered seating near the stage and sloped lawn seating (you can bring beach chairs that sit low) around the covered permanent seating. The sight lines are good and the music can be heard throughout! Enjoy!

John Cordell — Google review

We had a fantastic time at Beck and Phoenix! Haven't been to Pine Knob in years and it was so nice to see a concert outside. Everything was clean and well maintained. Getting in and out was surprisingly quick and easy.

Sarah Weiss — Google review

“Theatre” doesn’t do these grounds justice… This place is a city! Multiple restaurants, about 100 different stands where you can buy a Bud light and tons of room for fans to walk around without feeling overcrowded. I’ve been going to DTE for years now, and decided to give it the 5-star review it deserves after back-to-back concerts this weekend!

Spencer — Google review

Incredible concert venue! I visited for the first time on 9/10 to see Florence + The Machine and I left quite impressed. The sound quality is phenomenal, the grounds are kept very clean and look quite scenic, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly. I was especially surprised at how easy it was to leave the venue once the concert came to an end. Who would have thought it would have been so simple to leave alongside 14k other people. Whatever they are doing, they need to keep it up!

Liz — Google review

It's a nice venue. It has a very inviting feel. The sound was good, the staff were all friendly. I'm happy I flew here from New Jersey just to see a show.Hopefully, Billy Strings returns in the future.

Charles Cody — Google review

For context - went to see Simple Plan, Sum 41 and the Offspring.Interesting music venue being half indoor half outdoor.Great place for that festival atmosphere with a variety of eateries and bars when you need an break or sustenance. The toilets are always clean for a concert venue and in good supply.Only downside is when it rains as if you're not under the Pavillion, you will need a poncho or coat since there are few places to shelter.

mike porter (Rose Tinted Archer) — Google review

Great venue to see a concert. That being said, had negative experience with box office staff who said they had no information for us causing my party to miss a "meet and greet" experience that I bought special tickets just for the ability to upgrade to the meet and greet package. The first woman pulled her shade down without saying anything when I went to her window then the next window person came and sat and talked with her for what seemed like 10 minutes before just blurting out "I have no information for you".

Shopping mall

Mall with outlet stores for popular brands, plus an aquarium, a Legoland center & restaurants.

It was Great!! Kids loved the carousel (5 x's) lol. We went to sea life aquariums & rain forest cafe, and alot of the stores that we don't have in Saginaw anymore. Absolutely worth the trip!!

Ramona S — Google review

Truly a massive outlet mall with a large variety of shops for all sorts of needs. It was really spacious and felt like you can walk around for a long time. The shops all had really good deals going on and worth visiting especially if you’re coming from outside Michigan for a shopping spree.

Cindy N — Google review

Great mall, good variety of stores. Many food vendors and nice restaurants. Has lego land, aquarium, peppy pig and rain forest Cafe. You need to reserve those before going.

Susan Eaton — Google review

It’s a beautiful mall! Very big and “Michigan Largest Outlet Center” is a quite living up to its name. It is our first time visiting this mall.Lots of big brand store and other store that are located in this mall. Surprisingly, there is an aquarium located within the mall as well bowling alley if you want to take a break. There’s is a lot of different activities inside. Aesthetically the mall has different theme as you move on different zone.I live layout of the mall as well, it allows you to go in one direction and very fluid. This means you can visit all the store without going back and forth. There’s a lot of parking space, it didn’t take us that long to find one. Unless it was already late by the we got there. Speaking of time, you’re going to need almost half of your day if you want to visit store and find a good deal. Make sure you give yourself that amount time.I will be back to this mall whenever we visit Michigan again!

Kevin Lester Fallarcuna — Google review

A huge mall with various choices, may take the whole day to walk around and take a thorough look at every shop, but if you know what you want to buy, it’ll just take half a day. I came here first time on a weekday, so the parking lot was rather empty. The shops were easy to navigate; you just go straight from any entrance and there would be the number of “district” for your reference. The food court has some decent options but I wish there were more. The bowling/arcade game space is a fun stop for families. Other than that, there were not many differences in terms of deals or varieties of items (you can find the same in any TJMaxx, Marshalls, Macy’s, etc.)

Ha Bui — Google review

This is a beautiful place. Large stores. The store fronts have nice displays. You can find whatever you need. Including a food court. Hours are 11:am to 9:pm.

It's a wonderful place to go..not counting all the stores and restaurants and the fact it has 2 attractions sea life and Legoland in it. both of them places was really fun my grand kids had a blast. but in the middle of the mall they have a big play area for the kids and its free.👍👍

shawn Johnson — Google review

It is a wow experience as always. Very nice place for shopping, good deals, to spend a day

Great Lakes, Great Outlets, Great discount. A place where you get all branded things with great discounts. You at least need 2 days to completely look into this huge mall.

Mukesh Chhatbar — Google review

One of the best Malls in metro Detroit. People travel from out of town to shop here. Great Lakes Crossing is well maintained and a great destination especially in the winter months when you are looking for a place to get away from the snow. The food court offers a variety of options for dining. Additionally the multiplex theater offers another venue for entertainment.

Last week on Saturday, I been waiting for 7 years to come back to the mall I luv, and in fact, me and my fellas had a get together to hang each other to have a great time and soon, we love to hang the mall time and time again. 😃😃😃

Jaylin Timmons — Google review

One of the best outlets malls to get deals at. They have a movie theatre, legoland, a good amount of restaurants around, and plenty of very good stores. A must visit place if you are visit east Michigan area.

Will B — Google review

This outlet mall have most of the name brands here. Like Nike, Ecco, Foot Locker and much more. If you are willing to work and search high and low you can find some good quality products that’s deep discounted.

Jesse Lee — Google review

Too busy, not enough cashiers at stores. Lineups inside were sometimes 20+ minutes. A lot of selection but you really have to search for good deals. Not that many outlet stores, just brand name retail.

John Pye — Google review

The shopping was good, we got great deals, but they don't have any control of traffic. It's Black Friday; they were supposed to know they would be busy and traffic would occur. We are waiting about 3 hours to get out of the parking area. (Edit) A car caught fire, and we are still stuck for 5 hours! (Edit) Seven hours total, I'm sorry, but no more Black Friday in this place.

Kaique Walk — Google review

American malls are dead... EXCEPT THIS ONE! I couldn't believe how PACKED this mall was! But they definitely are doing it right. They have improved upon the in person shopping by adding in plenty of experiences. The Rainforest Cafe is stimulating. The aquarium and lego world are engaging. All of this plus a bustling food court offer families a full day of entertainment! Well done!

Mightymommy 101214 — Google review

Nice, clean mall that reminds me of Vaughan Mills in Toronto. It has a nice play area in the food court for little children that can give them a break. I'm not sure if we were really tired but it seems like the bathrooms were very far apart. Good selection of stores, otherwise.

Jagdeep Jassi — Google review

Yes a very spacious and enchanting shopping outlet of all major brands . So nicely organized and looks to be a favorite shopping center for people in about 50 miles radius ! Garments, footwears, jewelleries, electronics, toys , sportswears of every popular and not so popular brands can be found .One must plan this visit as even a day is not enough to take stock of availability of the things . Excellent play area for children and nice food court

Aquarium

Zoos & Aquariums

Family-friendly exhibits with a variety of sea creatures (most offer play areas & group packages).

Never knew this place existed until a few weeks ago, and decided to give it a try on a whim. The atmosphere was very nice, and the exhibits and tanks were well laid out for easy viewing at any pace. We never felt too rushed to get through them in the time we had.It wasn't too crowded during our visit, though there were a few points where waiting was definitely required due to narrow hallways and small viewing spaces, though not nearly enough to cause an issue.Definitely a very unique experience overall, and a must-see if you're visiting the mall for the first time.

Mike Grinter — Google review

Loved it!! Took 5 of my grandchildren, it's amazing seeing there reactions. They were thrilled with the glass tunnel, we must have been in there for an hour. Many pictures of them in the aquariums with the fish.Thank you, we all will be back, probably with more grandkids!!

Ramona S — Google review

If you've been to Ripley's in Toronto then this is a great alternative for the price. It had some neat features where you do feel like you're under the water for children and adults. A bit small but worth the price paid.

RodriguesDhillon Family — Google review

It was beautiful , $30 ain't going lie way too much to walk around a big aquarium $15 better price it was a 30 min walk , it was packed . It was quick could of least given the children a goodie bag or something for $30 I'm just saying........ It was nice doe

Latonya Lewis — Google review

My fiance and I went and had an absolute ball! I literally felt like I was scuba diving or snorkeling the whole time! So much stunning, beautiful sea life, including some I've never seen or heard of before! I would love to go back sometime! Thanks for having us! 💙💙💙💙

Lauren P — Google review

Such a beautiful aquarium with nice visual features! My 16 & 12yr old loved it! Not just for really small children. I really enjoyed myself too. Especially the petting of the sea anemones & star fish. It was not too crowded and we were able to take our time going through. They do not accept cash in the gift shop nor for admission tickets, which were $23.99 for a regular adult ticket. To see the peaceful & amazing sealife, it was worth it!

Tashia Beck — Google review

Totally worth it for small kids, took my almost 3yr old, and it was perfect for her. I think it would be cool for kids up to 10 or so, which is basically the oldest I say in there. We will be going back

Elizabeth Bonardelli — Google review

For the price of the aquarium it could have been better or a bit longer. The staff are beyond amazing in full detail when it comes to the sea life. Loved hearing about the turtles. Very clean. Touching the starfish will always be my favorite.

Anna Conover — Google review

It's cute! Solid 3.5. Had neat stations and view globes for kids. Touch tank. Nice variety for the available space. Very clean and the tanks were very well kept.

Brianna Osborn — Google review

This aquarium is amazing for being located inside of a mall. I really like stingrays, and they had multiple tanks that included them. The shark tunnel was awesome, and the large shark was pretty much always in view. The staff was very knowledgeable and informed us about the animals in different tanks we were viewing. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was no wait to get in. The aquarium wasn’t very busy, and we had plenty of time to view what we wanted unobstructed. 🪼🪼

JJ — Google review

Pretty cool displays and amazing areas to just watch the fish and aqua life! The only negatives are that it is kind of pricy for how fast we got through it, only took 30 mins from start to finish and stopping at everything. We loved the tunnel and the kids really liked all the little places to pop into the aquariums. I also wish there was more touch ponds or tanks, but all in all, pretty cool.

Kelly Crouch — Google review

Beautiful exhibits that kept us oohing and aahing all throughout! We took our toddlers who loved the experience almost as much as we did! It doesn't take long to get through (maybe an hour?) but it was worth it. We bought our tickets online the night before to play it safe. Made for a quick check in and ensured we had a chance to get in.

Becky Hoogerhyde — Google review

Great experience for all! From check in, to the gift shop at the end, all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The exhibits were highly informative, interactive and all around a lot of fun. It is a bit small so does get pretty crowded at certain areas, but is definitely worth stopping in for! The gift shop is card only, so be prepared for that!

Shannon R — Google review

Nice aquarium that is family friendly. Very educational and great views. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My child was to young to do the touching pool and staff brought a toy star fish for him to touch. I loved the mermaid head sculpture and the jelly fish.

Matthew Mason — Google review

I actually liked this Aquarium more than the big one in Atlanta Georgia. Highly recommended if you're in town! Definitely get the lego exhibit double ticket!

Mightymommy 101214 — Google review

This aquarium is very beautiful with lots to see. They have really cool viewing areas for the children, and a lot of learning opportunities for sea life and conservation. The aquarium was very clean and the animals inside seemed very loved and cared for.The staff was very knowledgeable on the names of the creatures, their species, and their stories.I just have an issue with their business practices in general. They change the time they stop allowing guests in everyday there’s no consistency in when they stop allowing in customers. Not only that but their hours mention being open to 7 but they allow their last guest in at 5:30, that was monday. Imagine our surprise coming to the door at 6 and being told they let the last guest in at 5:30. Today on tuesday they allowed their last guest in at 5. It doesn’t make any sense and it makes it hard to visit the establishment for working parents.Luckily today David heard our pleas after arriving five minutes past 5 and allowed us to take our daughter in. We tried to take her on her birthday but missed the window by 30 minutes. Luckily we made up for it today. Thank you David for helping us out.Tip: get the tickets online in advance for an idea of when you’ll be allowed to enter since the timing is so inconsistent.

Snug space full of coin operated fun from modern arcade games to retro fortunetellers.

Marvin's is a hole-in-the-wall hidden gem!An old school arcade and snack bar mix. It has unique machines and rare games. There is plenty to see whether you want to spend the money to play the games or just walk around and view the many mechanical marvels. There is a lot to see so I'd recommend taking your time if it's your first time visiting. The front half of Marvin's is arcade games, pinball machines and the unique rare games that are extremely old. The second half are the more modern arcade games that give you tickets that you can turn in. The games that give tickets are labeled that they give tickets but some are more difficult to see.Overall fantastic experience, we'll be visiting again!

I love visiting museums and antique places when visiting a new city. Stopped by this place because it was open till 9pm. Most of the places close by 6pm. This place was a gem and a huge surprise for me. Absolutely loved the collections of the old games. You’ll need a cash to change to coins in order to play. The old video games and puppet was my favorite. Highly recommend this amazing place.

Armita — Google review

Fun, unique place to go. Very sensory-intensive, but in a good way. Was like a kid in a candy shop! Whether you want regular arcade and pinball or some off-beat experience, they have both. Bring cash or quarters - gonna need 'em!

Mr. Just Ryan — Google review

What a gem! Marvin's is like no place you'll ever visit. Where else can you play an X-Wing simulator one minute and watch the Hindenburg disaster on a fully functional machine from the 1930s the next. It's an arcade and a very legitimate museum at the same time, all in a strip mall! There's really no other place on earth like this. Please do yourself a favor and spend a few hours marveling at the insane collection of antiques and history that Marvin procured over his impressive life. This is such a cool place and there's no charge for admission.Pro Tip: if you're trying to collect tickets, the game where you have to drop red balls into the cups pays out!!!

Mr3dPHD — Google review

Well, it's a kids dreams place. Make sure you bring at least $20.00. The games, rides, puppet shows or pinball cost from .25 cents to $3.00. The place was crowded, even on a Monday. They also have snack bar & restrooms. Really a fun place for adults too, they have race cars you can sit in side by side with a friend. I would strongly suggest you bring your kids to this truly Magical & Marvelous place...

GREAT place for family fun! There are many games for ALL ages. Parents you too can play and feel like a kid again!. The women's restroom is very clean!! My kids love this place. You need cash so you can change it to coins. It can get crowded, feel free to wear a mask for your comfort. The staff are very friendly and readily available for when you need help. Go and try it! It's worth a try. Plus this place is highly recommend by the owner ☺️.

Drove here from Canada for a cute date night. Staff is extremely kind, welcoming and absolutely wonderful. Spent $20 on quarters and had fun for a few hours. By far the most reasonably priced arcade I have ever been to. The history and collectibles are very cool, there’s so much stuff to look at and enjoy while you’re playing games. An incredible variety of games, old, vintage and new. Literally something for everyone! Absolutely devastated they went to knock this place down for a grocery store, I hope this place can stay open so I can visit again.

Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is a delightful step back in time, offering a quirky and nostalgic experience that's both cost-friendly and enchanting. Unlike typical modern-day arcades, Marvin's transports visitors to a bygone era with its collection of vintage machines. From classic pinball to retro arcade games, there's something for everyone to enjoy, making it a friendly destination for all ages. The staff's helpfulness adds to the charm, ensuring that every visitor feels welcome and well-assisted throughout their adventure. Whether you're reliving childhood memories or discovering these mechanical wonders for the first time, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum promises an unforgettable and fascinating journey.

this place is awesome! it’s kiddo friendly. i wasn’t expecting to be able to actually play the games! lol!! i thought they were just for show from the google reviews, but you can actually play most of them!! this place is so awesome! definitely would recommend to all ages. me and my girlfriend are 23 and LOVED it.

Kaitlin Harper — Google review

Lots of really cool old and newer video games, mechanical games, and other interesting things/oddities to look at and enjoy. They also have ticket games and a redemption center. We had a great time here but it was very crowded. It was a week day but holiday for schools so there were a lot of kids here. I don't recommend you go on holidays. The food counter has a very limited selection of small individual pizza, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and fries. You should probably eat before you come, food was only decent.

Jay The Traveler — Google review

The most unique arcade place I have ever seen. They have pinball, retro arcade games , modern games. They also have 1900 arcade and fortune teller games. They have food and drinks. I found myself lost in the environment because from the floor to ceiling there is stuff to look at. Amazing place and I spent more than 20$ on games and was getting more to play. A must see in Michigan!

Billy Godsey — Google review

I wish I would’ve read the reviews beforehand because we were expecting an ACTUAL museum and not an arcade 😂 however, the games dated so far back, some almost 100 years old, and were super cool to look at and see the mechanics of. The decor was really interesting, posters and neon signs and old animatronics lining the walls and ceilings. Most games were only 25 cents, and the more expensive ones were around $1-$3 so nothing pricey at ALL. All around a great time, I loved seeing the massive collection of creepy and funny antique games.

Amy Cohen — Google review

I'm a nerd when it comes to antique games, circus memorabilia, oddities and such. This is legitimately one of my favorite places I've ever been. I had so much fun with the antique mechanical games. The original owner's handwritten notes and photos attached to some of the games just top it all off. I hope this place never goes away. It is a true gem.

S-J Smith — Google review

Amazing place, so glad I got to take son to a place his dad had tons of childhood memories at before they "supposedly" shut down. I hope you stay open for years to come.I love that they use quarters and not tokens or cards.

Samantha Morawski — Google review

This place is fantastic. You won't encounter an Arcade-like location like this anyplace in the world. Sadly Marvin passed away a few years ago, but his collection of curious mechanical wonders is so fun to see. It's eye candy everyplace you look. Low costs to see many of the various pieces, a rotation of arcade games and pinball tables. A concession area with the ability to host things like birthday parties as well.

Everclearboy1 — Google review

Best place ever!! Family night, date night or just spending some time enjoying the memorabilia. This is a treasure !! Every time I go I see something new that I missed my last visit. The love that went in to collecting these vintage and newer pieces is priceless. Now we can enjoy! Sorry my pics weren't much, too busy having fun!!

Bill Vandyke — Google review

This place is a must-see if you are in the area. Fun for ALL ages. Great oddity, nostalgic, mechanical machines of all kinds. All coin operated. Museum/arcade/roll-area style cafeteria. We had an amazing time for hours!

Jenna Szyperski — Google review

This place is honestly the best entertainment place I’ve been to. It’s a one of a kind with its vintage games, machines, and art. It’s a fun and silly environment that I could spend forever in. I recommend it for any age.

Bubblebee 666 — Google review

I haven't been there since 2014 and 2015! It's one of my favorite places to visit ever! Today is me and my brother's 1st time visiting by ourselves. Last time we came, we were with a non-profit agency. Also, I'm saddened that they'll be moving at the end of 2024 year. Hopefully, if they find a brand new location, it'll be much larger than this current one. Finally, I have never met Mr. Marvin himself in my life; I'm saddened that he's no longer with us...😢 One thing I am happy is that his folks will continue to fulfill and work on Marvin's legacy.Stay gold, Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum! Stay gold! Me and my brother will DEFINITELY be returning in the future--probably 3 times! 5-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Very unique place. A sign is posted on the front door, that Marvelous Marvin's is trying to move to a new place. Great collection of 20th century arcade games. I liked the stereoscopic slide show viewers the best. No admission charged, but you pay your way by putting quarters in the machines

Mike Palecek — Google review

A throwback to the Penny Arcades of the early 20th Century? Absolutely. A remarkable homage to the Video Game Arcades of the 1980s? Thoroughly, but Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum is much more than merely an ageless arcade - it's a house of wonders that is destined to enhance the day of anyone - at any age - who makes the sage decision to stop by for a very fun and memorable visit.

Sobering museum featuring a WWII-era boxcar & other local & global stories of the Nazi regime.

This is a wonderful place to bring a school group. Our tour guide was tremendously knowledgeable about the exhibits and The Holocaust. The students all had headphones, so everyone could hear him speak. I'd highly recommend visiting with your students or without if you're not fortunate enough to be a teacher. 😊

Charles Hekman — Google review

I haven't been to this museum since grade school, and some aspects are just as I remember them. This is an invaluable experience for anyone who has an interest in WWII and The Holocaust, also for anyone who had families that lived through it, or lost loved ones. The artifacts and exhibits are humbling and devastating, but the spirit of perseverance carries through. It happened before, it is our responsibility to make sure it never happens again.

Sarah Mari — Google review

Our guide, Kelly was outstanding! She was very in tune with the child and letting us know what they would be seeing around the corner, encase it might be to graphic. She asked the right types of engaging questions... Everyone commented on her kindness and professional attitude.

Shawn Olds — Google review

Had always intended to go since I had been to the DC Holocaust Museum before. This one is more about the education of the impacted people, the lives of them, the atrocities committed, and more one how to prevent it for reoccurring than the DC museum. This is an older museum though so design sensibilities for museums have changed drastically in the years between the two.Honestly I feel this is more uplifting than DC, but DC being more of a museum destination has to be more impactful in a shorter time. Both are definitely worth the visit if you have only been to one before, check the other out also. Don't let history repeat these abuses.

Timothy Norris (Tim Norris) — Google review

Super informative. I went on Sunday at about 11:45 am and there was a survivor speaking for about an hour. Then we had a nearly 2 hour guided tour.If you want to gain a deeper understanding of the Holocaust then I would definitely recommend it.Make sure you give yourself at least 3-4 hours because there is a lot to see.

Derek Trestain — Google review

This is not a fun museum, but it is really, really, good. It can be a hard experience to learn first-hand, at a personal level, about the Holocaust. I would 100% recommend this museum, and think that everyone would benefit from a closer look at this terrible part of human history. Let us not forget.

Drew Reichenbach — Google review

Absolutely incredible! I have NEVER experienced anything so mind blowing! Take your kids! Show them! Take your neighbor! Take their kids! You must experience this incredible memorial!

Wheelie House Wire MESTREZ — Google review

Quite an eye opening experience on the holocaust. We liked all the details that were on display. I think the lights could have been better placed so as to eliminate reflection on the wall artifacts. Additionally, the font colors and sizes made the texts a bit difficult to read due to dim lighting.

Small multiscreen theater for new releases features roomy, reserved seats & alcoholic drinks.

The staff is always courteous and friendly, the seats are comfortable, spacious, and I love how they can recline and I can raise the footrest and I can warm up my seat. After the show I was thirsty and the line at the concession stand was incredibly long so I went over to the bar and asked if he had a courtesy cup. The very friendly and man even gave me water with ice right there.

I love this theatre, their sound quality, recliner seats, screens everything is 10/10. Their staff is polite too, love watching movies over here. Went to watch Gran Turismo yesterday we booked E Max, that screen is so huge just loved it.

Terrible experience at Emagine Canton. We are super loyal Emagine customers and we multiple movies per month and are Premium members. We normally go to Emagine Hartland and it’s a phenomenal theater. We had to go to this theater due to it being the only one showing Godzilla. Terrible experience, theater was trashed, popcorn and trash all over. Our food delivery was never delivered causing me to leave the movie, it still wasn’t ready 45 minutes later and we never got half of it. Additionally there was a group of people that were yelling and screaming racial slurs throughout the movie. Myself as well as a few others reported this to management and it was never addressed. Movie experience was ruined.

My wife and I started going to Emagine Canton a few years ago and fell in love; it took a global pandemic to get us to (temporarily) stop going there. It’s pretty much the only theater we ever visit. Great food options, seats are fantastic, never have bad service. It’s always had a premium feel without a huge markup compared to other theaters around us. We love Emagine!

The prices for tickets 🎟️ are great, especially if you go earlier in the day or on discount Tuesday. Concessions are the same price as most main movie theaters but their food is so much better. They use a stone fire oven for the pizza and quesadillas, both of which are awesome!! Popcorn 🍿 is on point and they have a big selection of co*ke products! Bathrooms are always clean and the lobby is always nice! They also have an awesome bar 🍻, believe me nothing beats a nice drink in a movie!! If you stop in make sure you look at the huge movie 🎥 wall above the entrance, it's awesome 👍😎!!

Always a good experience here. Well organized and staffed. Theaters are comfy! I love the seats that recline and have heat. Buying tickets in advance and showing my phone at the door was really easy.

Our favorite movie theatre. Seats are SO comfortable& love the cuddle chairs. Love the poppin' olive popcorn. Wonderful, courteous & efficient staff. We like to also get the funnel fries. The chicken tenders and french fries are also crispy & flavorful. Of course the big screens & sounds take viewers away! Usually show classic movies Sundays & Wednesdays. The movie club membership is also a great value in savings!

This was my 1st time here and I really enjoyed it, the seats are so comfy and spacious. Wide walking area so you don't have to worry about the guy behind you putting his feet on your chair or kicking it while you try to watch your movie.

I love going to this theater. I went here tonight to see the new color purple movie. Always clean and they provide great service. Taylor our bartender for the evening made sure we had delicious Long Island beverages.
